Backstory (or bio): Thorn was born to a single mother who was a roselia who belonged to a trainer in Hoenn (if trainers are canon. I can't tell?). He was never told who his father was ("It was in the past, Thorn. Why does it matter?") but was told his strange markings came from him (they are from both his grandfather and father. his father was a mawile and his grandfather is a mightyena). His childhood was fairly normal except for other kids that had parents owned by other trainers and sometimes even Thorn's trainer bullying him. his markings. He believes that he was a part of a world-saving team of good-guy pokemon in his last past life. So after a few years of thinking in this life, he had decided on his goal in life; he's gonna be the bad guy this time! Every chance he got, he used it to do "bad". More or less practice for if the opportunity to perhaps join or start something, although, it was nothing that extreme (basically, just super annoying pranks and theft like pickpocketing). It didn't help that his markings caused him to get bullied as a child, giving him even more of a reason to do bad; people are just mean. He needs justice! He had evolved into a roselia at random as a teenager and for his 18th birthday, he somehow robbed a store in the middle of the night and got himself a stone to evolve himself (he somehow got away with it, this being his worst crime for a while since it involved him breaking glass and such JUST to get in and to get the stone, as the store was closed. He's still a wanted criminal there).

A while after, on a vacation that he was dragged into, he found out about the hideout and decided to volunteer. He hopes to be the best he could be. We have to wait to find out.

Personality: Basically, a sassy, rude, egotistical, impulsive know-it-all. He's only here because he wants to be on the bad guy's side to see how it's like and just for the fun of it all. Life is like a game to him. He enjoys being the center of attention and enjoys flirting with others. He is friendly and outgoing, though. But he would still wanna prove himself as the best there ever was at anything. He will talk down anyone he comes across. He likes hiding secrets like his mother does (when asked about stuff from before he was born, he was told "it doesn't matter. It was in the past"). You will probably never know about his past. If the info is unnecessary for you to know, he will never ever tell you unless he tells you himself or it's just simple things like "how has your day been?" and such. (will update when needed)

Traits Summed Up: Sassy, brave, rude, flirty, prideful, outgoing, egotistical, confident, impulsive, thrill-seeking, sort of secretive.

Likes: Colored pens, flirting with others, shitty pickup lines cuz they are fun.

Thorn was based on my Roserade from my X/Y playthrough with a really good friend of mine (who's offsite). Thorn was my favorite team-member and his moveset was so satisfying to use lol. It would probs work better if it wasn't like the games imo (turn based).
He has a weird love for colored pens of all things. He would carry a bunch if he could. He needs a bag.
His personality is kinda inspired/based on my oc, Ven. But hopefully, Thorn will develop into someone other than him lol.
Due to his hands, he can't write. But he loves his useless pens anyways.
Thorn is bisexual.
The idea for how the markings are there was given to me by @/DatFluffyEevee (at least where exactly the idea came from at first). (asked about the idea for the markings and they told me that I needed a reason and they gave me examples. Then the markings idea just came to me from there-)
So, his family tree (and where his markings came from) goes as such; his mom was a roselia who had a one-night-stand or something with a mawile who's father was a mightyena. His markings were probably just a mutation from his dad's side (his dad most likely had them as well but it was hard to see due to his markings being darker). This is possible due to egg groups; the budew/roselia line is grass/fairy, mawile is fairy/field, and mightyena is field.

Battling Style: He always comes in with Toxic Spikes and Growth right away (sometimes Growth is used shortly before if it was a planned attack). He relies on Venoshock to do the most damage, so letting himself get hurt so Poison Point would come into play is a priority. When his hp is low, he goes in with a Giga Drain to heal up. He mostly forces on attacking, Growth is there to make himself stronger.
