Description
I have been through a period of re-thinking about my style, where I want to go and what I need to improve. Part of this work has been to remember all the artist I admire and follow and what I particularly like of each of them.
I find very interesting t see how what an artist admire is latter reflected into his/her work and show the direction it will probably take.

List of the artists (according to the small numbers in each of them, going from left to right and from up to down):

1- Space Anney: space-anney.deviantart.com/ For how she uses ethnic/indian/russian motives in a very personal style.
2- Photography in general tends to inspire me. This particular one is from oprisco: oprisco.deviantart.com/
3- Tamara de Lempicka. For the contrast of her shapes and the strength of the compositions.
4- Silvia Pelissero (agnes cecile): agnes-cecile.deviantart.com/ For her amazing use of watercolour and her intimate and somehow sad topics.
5- Gabriel Moreno: gabrielmoreno.com/ Because of his lines.
6- Toulouse Lautrec: Because of his use of colors and lines.
7- Ikenaga Yasunari: ikenaga-yasunari.com For his use of patterns and flat surfaces.
8- Maja Wronska (tajmaj): takmaj.deviantart.com/ For her incredible use of watercolour and her ability drawing architecture.
9- Meghan Howland: www.meghanhowland.com/ For her topics, compositions and use of birds to express the feelings of the portraited person.
10- Egon Schiele: for the naturality of his lines,, courage on the topics and the expressiveness of his portraits.
11- Alexandra Levasseur: alexandralevasseur.com/ For her colour palette and her topics.
12- Conrad Roset: www.conradroset.com/ -for his ability drawing women and the simplicity of his works.
13- Edward Hopper: Because of his compositions.
14- Nature. Jellyfishes in particular.
15- Hope Gangloff: www.hopegangloff.com/ For her use of lines/textures and her topics. She is the new Schiele.
16-Michael Shapcott: michaelshapcott.deviantart.com… Because of his very personal style, including american indian motives.
17- Klimt: because of his colours and delicacy of the details.
18- Old advertisements. The flat surfaces and the choice of colours of this kind of illustrations are amazing.
