I really want to do some experimenting with this one. I really do. I apologize for the lazy background, but I wanted everyone to see this as soon as I possibly could.And well, this is what you get for being lazy when you should be working on your art.

Also the "blue pants guy" from Contra is Bill Rizer. He's been the hero of the series since the first title, but in translations, the hero is always called something else (Mad Dog, Jimbo, etc.).

Ah, Donkey Kong JR is so cute here! Love this pic. Reminds of the old stickers you would get in Nintendo Card packs. Though this is much nicer!

I thought that having just Mario, Zelda, and Metroid characters on it would just lessen the value a bit, so I went and included the more lesser-known characters. Marble Madness FTW!

They're there, standing next to the word Nintendo. I decided not to add them in the NES shot, since that would mean less room for equally-awesome NES characters. (How many Battletoads and Sypha Belnades fanarts do you see around DA?)

I barely see any Battletoad or Sypha fanart. And I gotta say, back on the SNES, Battletoads and Double Dragons was one of my favorite games. Even if I couldn't get past the third level boss.

Well, the NES kicks PS2's ass. I don't care who loves PS2, the NES started this whole enchilada. While I'd go so far as to say that Super Nintendo and Genesis are the spicy sauces on top of the enchilada, the NES is the refried beans and grilled cheese filling. The PS2 would be the olives, lol.
