Description This was a 60 some odd hour render. Don't know if all of that time was worth it but this was just an experiment after all. Trying different coloring methods. I like how it came out...

Enjoy...

i like this. it has a complicated feel that appears to fall into random as the circles grow larger, but on closer inspection retain the pattern. very impressive i must say.

I really don't think there is anything you could do to improve this, it's perfect as it is. I think one of the hardest things to learn is where to stop This is simply elegant.

They totally remind me of Backgammon pieces stacked outlandashly on top of eachother. They've got a heavy weight to them and that's kinda what I feel from this. Just... wouldn't want the stack to fall on me.

I like this very much. There's a look to this that reminds me of stone ware dishes, but I've never seen dishes in these beautiful colors! Wonderful textures and a very unusual spiral.

The simplicity and the colors are very dramatic.

I've seen people say things about the long render times. I don't think mine have ever taken that long. What is it you do/what am I not doing that could improve my images. Also, what do you do while it's rendering? I've decided asking for the info I need and feeling stupid is better than just feeling stupid.

Thank you...

As far as rendering goes...I really think it depends on the program. I've found that with Apo, they always take longer anyway and if you mess with the settings it can make it take even longer. Much is the same with UF. I always thought that my fractals didn't render very long but since they looked alright it really didn't bother me. But I did notice that when I looked at other fractal artists work, strongly coming to mind, I noticed that their work seemed to have more depth and sharpness to them.

With longer render times come sharper and cleaner images. I personally always render at a high number of pixels per inch, 5000 to be exact. With this fractal I started playing with the anti-aliasing. That's what makes the biggest difference I think. Also, I think the file format makes a slight difference.

Here are two links that I found that have to do with rendering, they helped me out.
