Description
...and Going Into a Downward SpiralI saw 's "Lift" [link] and got inspired. I also drew inspiration from some of Paul Decelle's most recent works. This is the result. Hope you like.

Wonderful color and texture gives it an aged look. I also am inspired by Paul Decelle's work and can see that you've learned a lot from him. Your fractals have a nice variety and show a willingness to experiment, which I like. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

I like your stone spiral! Great textures and colors and I think the balance is fine overall: the dark areas balance out the light areas and the busyness is relieved by the negative space. I have to agree with Michael about the border, though: it's just a bit too much of the same thing.
Overall, I like the simplicity of the shape mixed with the compexity of the textures.

I like the confetti like texture. The shape is very nice too, but the darkness at the top right 1/3 gives an unbalanced feel. I think if you changed the border, then it would give it more contrast too
