Josephine
Height: 4'6"
Age: 23
About: Josephine hails from an unnamed island between Seafoam and Cinnabar. From a young age, she has been fascinated by mysteries, especially those regarding strange occurrences on nearby islands. Possessed by a complete lack of common sense, she enjoys setting out and solving these, no matter whose plans she meddles in. Unfortunately, she recently managed to upset somebody powerful. As a result, her grandmother has been spirited away to an unknown location. Instead of doing something sane like calling the police, she set out to save her grandma and shut down this mysterious kidnapper.

People often think she is much younger than she really is due to her combined short stature and lack of maturity. She can be so unconvincing that people will think her ID is a fake when she pulls it out. Her pokemon don't take her too seriously either, and will often act on their own without her giving commands.

She doesn't like being called Josie.

Notable characteristics: Long gash across his top shell.
About: Josephine's first and main pokemon. Selby is unusual for a shellder in that he doesn't like to leave his tongue hanging out. Selby is the voice of reason on the team and tries to keep Josephine out of trouble, often failing miserably. Josephine wants to evolve him, but he refuses to. He strongly dislikes Cloysters.

Because the gash on his shell weakens its structure, he can't defend himself as well as a normal Shellder and has adopted a more offensive strategy.

Notable characteristics: Pirate costume, ridge down his back, stubble
About: Rambunctious and always keen on adventure, Sal's never afraid to break a few rules. He likes rum and can often be seen drinking it, but it's hard to say where he gets it from. Josephine sure didn't give it to him.

While he loves the thrill of the fight, he also likes winning. He won't necessarily rush right in and start attacking. He'll tend to use tricks to get the upper hand. And steal your riches.

Notable characteristics: East sea colors though she is actually a west sea Gastrodon. Has a creepy smile.
About: The newest and possibly most dangerous addition to Josephine's team. Sprinkles came to this world as the result of many terrible breeding experiments. She enjoys causing as much destruction as possible and fissure is her favorite move. When she isn't fighting, Sprinkles spends her time quietly laughing to herself. No one has any idea what she's thinking. Selby is terrified of her.

Jolly, Impetuous and silly
Ability: Intimidate
Item: Pink Scarf

Notable characteristics: Is pink, a shiny, and fairly cute as far as Gyarados goes.
About: More of a contest pokemon. She's generally sunshine and butterflies, but goes on uncontrollable rampages when she feels her looks have been insulted, which happens fairly often. She's very proud of her image.

She also only eats sweets.

Drifty
[Drifblim] [Male]
Mild, Thoroughly cunning
Ability: Aftermath

Notable characteristics: Wears a top hat and a monocle
About: Patient and diligent, Drifty is mostly there to pick up the pieces when everything goes amiss. He's not a very powerful fighter and relies almost entirely on coming up with strategies. It's very rare that he will actually use his ability to explode; he will only use it if he has no alternatives.

He can also be a stickler for propriety, and won't hesitate to discipline an improper opponent.
