Aphmau was finishing the tree house for Levin and Malachi near the lake. She was finishing up the railing so the kids wouldn't fall off and hurt themselves. As she was building Garroth walked towards the tree looking for her.
"Oh! Hey!" Aphmau called out when she took notice of him. "Garroth what are you-" She looked back and realized she had locked herself out.
"Uh oh. Oh no, I-I um, locked myself out," she tried looking for a way back in.
"Um, Garroth! One second!" She shouted. Garroth from the ground, looked up in worry.
"Wait! Hold on!" she tried climbing over the railing but her foot had slipped, causing her to start plunging toward the ground.
"AAAH!" she screamed. Garroth immediately raced towards her with his arms extended. His hat had flown off revealing his soft golden hair. He lifted his arms just as she came in contact. She landed in straight in his arms and they stared at each other before he snapped out of it and quickly put her down. He brushed his hair out of his bright red face.
"Garroth thank you so much! Oh my gosh!" Aphmau was still in shock and tugged slightly on her hair. Her face felt hot but she wasn't totally sure why.
"M-M-Miss Aphmau, are you okay?! What were you doing up there?" Garroth brushed his hand through his blonde locks. Aphmau took a deep breath,
"I decided to build a tree house for Levin and Malachi and I guess I got a little bit over excited and well I basically locked myself out and then you were there and then I fell. So... yeah."
Garroth looked at her in shock.
"I see," he replied, composing himself. "Well... be careful next time. I'm sorry, I know I might have distracted you... Glad you didn't take the boys up there."
"I'm glad I didn't either," she looked up and smiled at him. "Thank you so much Garroth."
"Heh," his face started turning pink again. "Well... it was... my pleasure..."
"Um! Say," he continued, trying to change the subject. "It looks like you're done up there... Oh, there are the boys!"
"Wait, where?" Aphmau turned around to see Levin and Malachi with their eyes shining like stars. Their mouths were agape.
"Oh! Levin! Malachi!" Aphmau raced towards them.
"Wow! Are you okay? So glad Garroth caught you..." Malachi looked up at the tree house. "Say Mom, do you think we can go up into the tree house to play now? Is it done? I wanna see it! Haha! Please?"
"Heh, of course," Aphmau chuckled.
Aphmau looked towards Levin who was looking intently at Garroth, who only shifted uncomfortably in response. Levin looked up at Aphmau,
"You ok?" he asked excitedly. "Gar so cool! Can we play?"
"Yes we can play," Aphmau smiled and rubbed his little tufts of sandy hair. "Come on, let's go and head up up there!"
She quickly turned to Garroth who was picking up his hat from the ground,
"You too Garroth!" she waved her hand to summon him forward. "Come on!"
Garroth looked back in surprise before shrugging and catching up to them.
After hours of play Levin, Malachi, and Aphmau had all fallen asleep with Garroth being the only one left standing. He looked at Aphmau, whose flower crown lay floppily on her head and little strands of hair blocked her her face. Garroth leaned toward her and gently brushed her hair away. She softly snored and Garroth smiled before feeling Levin snuggle up next to his leg. Garroth smiled as he looked at this beautiful family, but his smile quickly faded, his mind trying to block the memories.

So I changed the ending because... cheese... I also made the ending sad... sorry
