I wasn't going to post this because it's so static (as are most of my bird shots), but I like the pre-sunset lighting so here it is... several months late.Related content

Thanks, Addam. The snowy egret has such a subtle glamor... impossible to convey unless one knows what one's doing which I don't. So I was pleased to have the light working.

You're right about the light! It's really great that the highlight area isn't burned out, you catched the details there.
Oh, and talking about being statical... it's a heron! They are soooo patients before they make a move, so we have to be double patient
