The two leaf-fire shots are beautiful, but not much beyond that. I know, how can that be a critique? It's actually that I look at the images, and think, "oh that's neat" but there is nothing to set these apart. Then focus is exceptional and the angle great, but at the end of the day, the question I'm faced with is if I want to put this on my desktop or wall. No, not really. Not because it isn't beautiful, but rather that it doesn't grab me beyond that.
I also wondered why you chose to call this autmn "fire" - I'd kinda expect that a "fire" shot would have the leaves be upside-down what they are now, with the "tongues" of flame reaching up. Speaking of up and down, the lack of focus on the top half of the image has an odd effect of forcing the eyes down - I'm not sure if it helps or hurts the overall effect of the shot, but it's curious.
So yes, some thoughts.

As per the beauty over grabbing capability I would agree. I was enjoying a lovely autumn day and just snapped away a few. Certainly payed attention to lighing and composition but all I wanted to do was capture a bit of beauty.

I know I have a lot of trouble sometimes when the sheer power of the moment only registers for me when I look at one of my photographs. Like jokes, for some shots, you need to be there to get it. =]
