Stiiiill haven't played MVC3 yet, but at this point, it'll probably be a while before I play it with so much going on around here. Here's X-23 from MVC3. To be honest, I know next to nothing about her other than she's some sort of clone of Wolverine. I recently saw her in the pretty cool Wolverine And The X-Men tv series which I stumbled upon in Netflix. But yeah, gotta borrow my friend's MVC3 one of these days, just so I can say I played it. She's an awesome character. One of the best Marvel characters period. :3 And her theme, while it's a bit lighthearted for her character, it still fits her regardless.
And jesus, at the people complaning about her supername. X-23 is an awesome codename and you will all deal with that.

Thank you! Her theme song sounds like something they'd play in a shopping mall clothing shop. Maybe that was the point though, I don't know enough about her personality though to make a valid opinion weather it fits her or not, all I know is that in most pictures she looks super pissed off. Haha!

Oh yeah, I meant UMVC3. Hahaha, her theme song. Like I said to a response above, I don't know enough about her, so her theme song to me doesn't seem to fit her character at all. Mainly cause I always see her so pissed off.

Seriously, the name X-23, just doesn't sound that cool, and it should've just stayed as some kind of experiment name that X-23 would've abandoned in favor of something else. Besides, those toe blades definitely make her raptor-like, and she's as fierce as one. Therefore, it fits. Better yet, Deinonychus could've been good, too, as she could've made another alter ego out of it, namely Dina Nicholas.

Opnions =/= facts. Sorry, but just because you dislike that name doesn't mean it sucks automatically. The codename X-23 is what she's most known for. Plus, it's one of the most coolest codenames out there imo.
And seriously, ''Raptor''? That's the most generic codename i've ever heard. Trading her awesome codename ''X-23'' for ''Raptor'' would be a disgrace to her character.

I get it. But I was stating opinions, dude. Also, you could say the same about Wolverine as well, as his name sounds pretty generic, too. But his name fits quite well with him, just as Raptor fits well with X-23. This is all based on their appearances, of course, and this is all just my opinion. You could also say that you saying that calling her Raptor would be a disgrace to her character is an opinion being stated as a fact, so unless you want to look like a hypocrite, you may want to rephrase that a bit. Wolverines prey on the weak. Does that fit Logan's character? Oh, and may I remind you that X-23 was a hired assassin at one point. Technically speaking, she could've been hired to kill anyone, including the weak. And does everyone adore her codename, or are you just making that up? If you'd like the character you'd respect the codename that was given to her. Obviously you don't, so maybe YOU should move on from her. X-23's creators, Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost, have mentioned they know one day she'll need a more super-heroic name and if they have any say in it it will be "Talon." It's usually listed on biographical sheets as one of her aliases, but I have no idea where she used it.

Talon is already the name of a supervillain for DC Comics. The trademark would be violated if she used that name. Raptor would be much more appropriate.

Well, I'm pretty much neutral to either one, myself. I just wanted to let you know that yes, there has been talk about her using a codename other than X-23.
(I think I'd actually prefer "Razor," but as far as I know that's already in use too.)
