Description
This was the outfit I wore to Day Zero (the "Jesus rave" at church that I told you all about in one of my journals). Yes, I am vain enough to put a picture of it up here. (I categorized it as a fashion portrait because I consider this to be fashion. It is, darn it! ) I took pictures of the event itself, mostly the room where we were dancing, but I think I'll upload those later (mostly because I've got to look over which ones I like best - I took pictures of my friends and stuff, too, but they were all pretty blurry. Not that that's a bad thing. 1, I think blurry looks nice if you're not going for a perfect depiction of what happened, and, 2, it's symbolic for the event, because I felt shaken and excited throughout the whole thing, in a good way.)

~WingsWithFeathers actually helped me pick it out...over the phone. ("So what are you wearing, Jude?" "Well, I've got this tye-dye shirt and jeans that are the color of gray rabbits, and, of course, my ever-trusty headphones. I'm debating if I should put pins in this bowler hat.") It was fun to have the hat, because, when I was dancing, sometimes I'd take it off and hold it in my hand as I danced.

By the way, the things on my arms aren't sleeves of a shirt, but they're actually a pair of (really long) gloves that I made.
