Description
This is the painting of Javert from Les Miserables that I did. It's the part when he's on a bridge just about to do that one thing he does at the end. (Yes, I insist on maintaining spoilers that way. Even though it's kind of obvious, and I think it's a well-known fact...right?)Yeah. I did this painting. The next day, when I went to school, I did a cosplay of him. The day after that, I turned in a persuasive argument about him to one of my teachers (the assignment didn't directly relate to Inspector Javert, but we could write it about anything at all, so I wrote something proving that he's not evil, and I felt like an obsessive dork afterwards). Oh, no, I'm not really obsessed at all, though.
I filed this under "miscellaneous" because, although Les Mis is technically a book, I viewed this as being related to the musical. It's kind of funny, things like this, where there are two very popular adaptations and both are considered equally legitimate (not like how some people say the movies aren't at all as good as the books, 'cause the play's really very good).

Thank you! "Not only because it's Javert" - ha, reminds me of my habit of sometimes appreciating art more than I ordinarily would because I like the subject matter, too. Hmm...*looks at your art* Yeah, I can see a bit of a semblance, a bit.

Yeah, well, writing is an important skill in and of itself. Me, I'm a writer, too - in fact, I attend an art school for creative writing - but I also draw as a hobby. I'm glad that you're branching out with more than just the one art form.

I orefer writing, I'v been wrting stories since kindergarden, and there's not a day when somethingodesn't end up on paper somewhere! i am obsessive about it and will robably end up as an author (i hope)! Until then i just put up with life and wait for sholl to be over (yeah, keep hoping, still nearly 4 years to go

Oh, really? Cool! So have I! (Or, around that age, anyway.) Hey, that's a good thing. Being artistically productive every day, man, that's the way to go. I hope you do end up as an author. That'd be a really neat thing. Yeah, that's sometimes the only thing to do, just keep doing what you're doing and wait for things to change (ah, four years isn't forever, though, at least, even though it's kind of long, especially in relation to the length of our rather brief lifetimes at this stage).
