Description Snap, flash, in the sack.
She makes her point with an electric crack.
She ties the point to the chair.
She makes it clear we're not going anywhere.

Flesh wound in the head,
"Another one's coming, get him in," she said.
He's in because of the hassled laws.
He's not giving up 'til he's won his cause.

But Kurt's in the corner, he's got no shoes,
And Daniel's not crazy, he'll promise to you,
And Rosemary comes and hands him truth,
And I'm just wondering, "What should I do?"

Thatcher doesn't mind.
Thatcher's in here to stay.
Thatcher doesn't mind.
Thatcher's in here to stay.

No one makes it if they don't try.
I thought I'd come up with an alibi,
But it stings in your hand with electric wires.
Try to convince yourself you're no liar.

You win, you get your role.
Try to make it sullen in the long-term goal.
Fire off the crackers, we're all tacks.
Come over here to get your whack.

But Paul's got a hand in the graying mess,
And John's not sure who he ought to bless,
And here's for the stairs you never test,
And something about Lucy but I digress.

Thatcher doesn't mind.
Thatcher's in here to stay.
Thatcher doesn't mind.
Thatcher's in here to stay.

Doctors, doctors, make me well.
Get me off with this sudden swell.
I held his breath 'til it drove him through,
And now I'm not sure what to do

Thatcher didn't mind.
He thought he was here to stay
Thatcher's alright.
Thatcher's alright to stay.

I didn't mind.
I thought I was here to stay.
And I don't mind,
'Cause I'm not here to stay.

Ahaha! I'm delighted! Truly!
I'll remember your future stage-name...you know...for the future.
Pure Stater...I never knew what it was called.
So anyway, how do you get the 60's-like effect?

Yeah, that's the name it goes by.
Well, the primary tool I use is the special effects you can get with the program GarageBand. That's the one I use. I don't know if you've ever used it or if your computer can use it, but, if you record something with it, you can open up this little control box that has various sonic effects you can put on it (like echo, tremolo, et cetera). I use these on pretty much literally every recording I do. Though, when I record the instrument and put the effect on it with the computer, I never have any kind of preconceived idea of what I want it to sound like. That's fun, though, because then I end up making something that I wasn't expecting. I can never work along a set guideline anyway. If the finished project doesn't surprise me any, then it wasn't any good.

You are such a great songwriter, it amazes me as well! Are you putting any more songs up on the Tube soon? (I listen to your songs often. I love them.)

Really? Thanks. Well, I keep lying to myself and saying I will, but I'm a procrastinator of surprising proportions. Especially nowadays. But I have been meaning to put this one song up, because I'm actually pretty proud of it. It's called "Krankenhaus des Verstandes", which means "Hospital of the Mind" in German (but usually I just call it "The German Hospital Song" when talking about it ). I like it because it has a ukulele that sounds like a keyboard.
