Description
Along with the full "mechanical" cyborg arms, I also make custom forearms and hands, using my own molds and casting in latex rubber. This one is completely cast in latex with added latex detailing and painted to look like weathered metal.Related content

This is just what im looking for. Is this just a one sided hand or is it a full glove? and is it just the right hand or have you got both left and right?
If so how much would the set cost?
Cheers

Hi, Chris!
The hand in the photo is just the back side. I usually wrap it around a black, latex glove I have both left and right hand molds. If you are after the combination of the forearm and completed glove, I'll note you a quote.
Thanks for asking!

Is doing stuff like this hard? I've wanted to give things like this a try for a while.

I don't think it's very difficult for creative people like us. It's mostly just a matter of finding someone that can help get you started with the basic steps. Then your own imagination can kick into gear from there.
Back when I didn't know much about molding and casting, a friend showed me a lot of the basics. Now I've got tons of plaster molds, clay and latex all over the place!!
If you are interested in trying out a cvborg project or two, don't hesitate to contact me at: pirkle-ations@comcast.net. I'll help you out as much as I can with what I've learned over the last 40 + cyborg costume projects. I always enjoy sharing what I've learned about prop and costume-making with other people.
2-D art is great(And costs less to create!) But there is something even more satisfying about bringing a vision from our own imagination into the 3-D world.
