Description
When I joined the group in mid-May, I had the crazy notion to draw all the contestants. It's been an great experience trying to emulate some rubberhose in how I normally draw, and it's been a fantastic practice for if I ever want to draw any of these toons again in future Hopalong Hospital/ Millie comics.

This is such a great feat of numbers and quality. It's so great to see these toons all on one page doing what they do and bein' sassy! I think checking them all out individually via the sta.sh link you provided was even better because the flavortext you provided on some of them had me chuckling

When it comes to flavor text, I'm a sucker for alliterations and puns. They're my favorite things to say and to write, and I'm glad you found humor in a few of them. That was my aim.

I think my favorite thing about Morgan and Elizabeth was that you re-imagined two characters you already created and adapted them to this prompt. To me, that shows you're able to adapt a character to a changed environment and still tell your intended story.
Trucube was kinda funny to draw since my entire senior thesis in college involved me drawing a lot of blocks. You can't even imagine how much time I invested in drawing blocks to get my degree. But this is different since I can now draw a block with a face. And that was pretty fun!

One thing that will sometimes bother me when involved in a big group is that there's a lot of fan art for the more popular characters, but there will be some characters that get overlooked for different reasons.
This compilation started when I was drawing the other Benny (the bull), and then I wanted to draw Toots. And then Frankie K. And it then turned into a challenge where, whoever was in the Skype room, I'd draw their character just so I could get a hold of how they were built. It was also to show whoever I was talking with that I appreciated their character. I really do like the ideas behind these toons, they're all so different!
Then I figured, "If I'm drawing these toons, why not draw them all?" That way I would get more practice in this particular style, and the people who spent time making their toons would have something that showed someone appreciated what they made.
Including yours, I can think of maybe five roosters that were animated in some way (Foghorn Leghorn, Rocky the Rhode Island Red, Family Guy's Rooster, Chanticleer, and your Benny). Trust me when I say, I like your fighting rooster much more than the Family Guy one.

I know what you mean! I did a similar picture of the Technicolor contestants a little while ago, I started off drawing my favorites, then I wanted to do everyone! You're right about all of them being so interesting, everyone came from different creative backgrounds and thus were all so unique and fun in their own ways!
And thanks very much, I'm glad you like him more than the Family Guy chicken XD I enjoy watching that show from time to time but that's one joke that I got tired of really fast, even as much as I like chickens, maybe because it feels like it takes up so much time haha! Anyway, roosters and chickens seemed to be a popular subject of older cartoons, there's some really great ones!
