Here are a couple of pointers for when you finally get a chance to play it:

Try to aim for someone holding a Molotov and time your shot for when he's just about to throw it. Even if you don't kill him with the first shot, he'll drop the Molotov Cocktail from his hand and he'll burn to a crisp on the spot.

Throw Brick or Glass Bottles at traps to safely detonate them. [Keep in mind that if there are Hunters/Infected in the area, doing this could give you away.]

After you throw a Scissor-Bomb and nobody has stumbled into it after a while, you can always pick it up and throw it again somewhere else, but that runs the risk of being seen.

Infected Humans are more sensitive to sound than healthy humans.
