whom have you taken your artistic inspirations from? Your coloring makes me think of comic artist Skottie Young. And it seems like you like the works of HP Lovecraft too, I look forward to reading him when I get his complete works for my birthday and sometime plan on making a series based on it.

Honestly, I've just been soaking up artistic styles since I can remember. I LOVE Dark Horse, Image, and Vertigo comics. Artists? Hmm...Feng Zhu is my top guy. He's a concept artist and he's got his own school. Then there's Greg Capullo, Todd McFarlane, John Romita, Jr., Tony Parker, etc. As far as color, it's really a lifetime of experience up to now, including color theory back in school as well as looking at what I like personally. I really love the grunge look and feel, probably because of George Lucas introducing the world to "Old future" with the first Star Wars back in the day. It gives the edge of realism that is lost with perfect, pristine graphics. Everything's got some wear and tear. Not sure if that helps, or even answers the question, but there it is!
