What makes me say that is a recent editorial by him in Scientific American where he is "skeptical" about the huge income imbalance between the rich 1% and the rest of us.  Says it's not that bad; after all, our incomes go up just a little bit each year, yes?  We should be content with that.

If nothing else, the man seriously lacks an understanding of what all that money could DO if it weren't simply being sequestered by the 1% away from everyone else.  Preventing global warming comes to mind.

I've had other disagreements with him, too, but I'm too lazy to dredge them out.
