modeled in 3DS Max4.2, rendered with FinalRender, technique: SubD

BTW: I'd like to apologies for my missing thanx for all you guys who have commented the former version of my bot. I'm on DSL but it's hell for me to surf DevArt atm. I don't know why, but it takes several minutes to load just one site. I'll thank all of you personal but it might take a while.

I have to congradulate you though dude, not much of the 3D stuff around here is worth it's salt, but your work witht his rocketBot is just stunning .
the level of detail in this is just incredible - all those little grooves, screws, joints and jams must have been quite an experience.

It is very good job ! - modeling, texturing. Just one thing, what I don't like too much - the eyes. It is too "cheap" in comparrison to the whole robot.

I love this dude, the render is so clean and detailed... it looks really nice on the white background. I've seen the other versions but I was waiting for the final for a deserved (which I don't give out too often).

top notch render man (pun not intended!) including that little aerial... very cool; a little reminiscent of the war bot from star wars (which is no bad thing, I may not like the film a huge amount but I do like the design of a lot of it) especially if you have seen the other artwork from it in the book about their design process, and seen the rocket pack modified version. I'd like to do construct crit, but there's not a lot to say, apart from I'd love to see this in a small animation, maybe exported to flash?
