This is a character from a book called - "City of Bones" by Cassandra Clare (good book).His name is Jace
he doesn't actually have wings...
PLEASE CRITICISE!

Critique: The wings turned out fine, but they lose there appeal because of the potted plant. If the plant was moved further into the background or made smaller or had a different placement, it would enhance the wings more.
Is the character supposed to look emaciated? If he is, then you need to add more shading to the hip bones and make his arm less muscular.
More shading to the face would be useful. It looks somewhat flat and you definitely have the ability to add a very vivid depressed look with your shading.
Your also missing a leg from the table, should be one thats opposite of the front leg (ie. close to the middle of the table/seat. It doesn't look 3d at the moment. Its more 2d.
Otherwise: You have great talent, but really need to add more shading and 3d effects. Great works though and many

i put the pot in to show that the wings are kind of transparent, but you're right, it does kind of mess it up
