i did this a while ago, for an art project in school. the japanese symbol means love.....a lot got cut off, which really sucks

I like it a lot! the "siluetes" (I don't know if that's the right way to say it) but it looks very nice!

It's simple, but a beautiful pastel work nonetheless. The colors blend very well to create a mesmerizing sunset, the orange hints of light reflect very nicely on the water's rippling surface. And the shading on the silhouette of the couple adds even more charm.

I love chalk pastels, I haven't played with them in ages lol.
Great work with blending the colours, I especially like what you did with the water, with the strokes of blue and yellow. One crit would be that the bank on the other side's not straight and curves downwards on the left side.
