I do read scanned manga but i also buy the manga that i read, Naruto does overfill my bookcase at the moment with One Piece sorry i got side tracked. Such a great collection of characters i don't know them sadly but i really like the effects you have going on and your drawing skills!Β

Ah, me too, except with difference series. Does this mean you filled in my survey? Thank you if you did. 
They're characters from Ouran High School Host Club. It's a shoujo series, but it's 100000 times better than the majority of what usually offered in that genre, so I'd recommend reading it if you can (or watch the anime).Β

Thank you. That means a lot considering the amount of time I put into this piece! Mmmh, sai is a really good program to use, but there are other programs out there that work just as well. I mean, for the longest time I used GIMP, and it really isn't too hard to get the same effect; you just have to know your tools. If you want, I could probably do a piece entirely in GIMP to show that?Β

No problem! It DEFINITELY shows how much time, effort and passion you put in there! I really wanna get SAI, but I have a mac... so its not gonna work.. I have actually never heard of GIMP?? Is it similar to SAI? I just use the app SketchBook Pro on my Ipad to draw... and you can only add like 16 layers on the smallest size...Β

Ah, I can see why that would be a slight problem. Hmm, I'd say GIMP is more similar to Photoshop than sai, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing as it can make it easier to edit; although I should mention it's a "heavier" file than sai, but it can be used on a mac system. Alternatively, there are some other open source art programs, such as MyPaint, and there are some websites where you can draw, like iscribble.net and drawr.net. Hopefully that should help you out a wee bit. (:Β
