Description
Remember my old colouring style (think: [link] ) that I used when I drew with GIMP? Well I've finally figured out how to do the exact same thing in SAI!!Anyhoo, this is a fan art for cute-saki's fanfiction, Paper Hearts (you can read it here: [link] ) .
Oh, but I should probably mention that this isn't based on any particular scene in the story - it's probably more accurate to say it's an imagined front cover or something. :'D
Hibari Kyoya and Chrome Dokuro (c) Amano Akira.

Aw, thank you!! Yea, I started using SAI back in July, and I really like it! Totally worth the money I paid for it!! :'D I just love how it blends, and how I can change the angle of the canvas without everything going all blurry! Not to mention, it takes up a lot less memory on my computer, which is always a plus.

Yea, it really does. I just really like the whole program. Shame the only thing I'm currently using it for is anatomy practice haha

Thank you. Erm, it can last between a few hours to a few days. Generally, though, I'm not too bad; all I want to do is sleep, and steer clear of anyone else. Then again, I'm like that during the rest of the year too... D:
Indeed!! And I've found that I do like studying anatomy, though not from stock photos on dA.

Oh I know the feeling, I'm like that sometimes too! I'm something of an introvert. Well I'm glad that they don't last that long. I've got a friend who sometimes has it for months.
Great! I wish I could find inspiration for that. So from what do you study it then?

Pixie-Lips In reply to kuronaa [2014-01-20 17:34:17 +0000 UTC]
Ah, but this is different from being an introvert (which I am too). For me, it's essentially a case of cutting myself off because my perspective on people/things changes to such a degree that I believe that I'm not wanted or needed - basically, I just want everyone else to be happy, and feel like I'm detrimental to that. Very painful thing to have to live through on a daily basis. Mmmh, well, those periods now last a lot longer, and I've been rediagnosed with clinical depression (and have been for almost a year), which is lots of fun. ¬_¬ I'm sorry to hear about your friend. Is she any better?
Hmm... lots of photos - personal or otherwise - and mirrors. Sometimes I don't use references, but work it out on my own what does(n't) look right and why, which creates an interesting dynamic. (:

Ugh, so sorry to hear about that. I sincerely hope you get better, but I suppose this is something that sticks. In a way I can relate to that, but obviously not on the same scale. I occasionally feel like I don't deserve my friends and that they will at any moment have had enough of me, to be honest I feel like that most of the time.
I've lost contact with her, but I sure do hope so.
Yeah, I've also noticed the mirror is perfect for anatomy studies, although it tends to get a bit difficult when it comes to male anatomy. :c

I totally love your style! And they both looked so pretty! *v* (It might not suite to describe this word on Hibari but with my individual, I shall put him on that word XD *get hit by tonfa*)
The technique drawing by using black only but keep the drawing look complicated is just so good QoQ (it's still hard for me to get it right by doing this way though, so you did a really good job there! XD)
And I can see a huge improvement compare from looking at your previous works as well, you're going to be a lot better for sure! So keep up, dear!!! Congrats!

Aw, thank you so much!! Ah, but Hibari is a very pretty man (so pretty, my mum's friend thought he was a woman! :'D), so I think it's okay to call him that.
And I'm glad you think Chrome's pretty - she was really hard to draw. ;A;
Actually, black isn't the only outline colour - I used red as a secondary line, which is what helps stops the black from becoming a colour drain. :'D I probably didn't explain that too well, so I'll try to do a tutorial to explain this method of lining/colouring.
Ah, I'm really glad to hear that!! I've actually been practicing quite a bit lately, as well as researching how other people draw too (their tools and whatnot), so I'm pleased to hear my hard work has paid off!

I read its and I'm just like -flails arms and giggle like a fangirls- because it was very emotional and now it leave me wondering who the man at the end of the chapter was and what Mukuro is planning. I like how Hibari is straight to the point with everything but it still leaves Chrome confused xD. And Hibari's way of caring is definitely Hibari. I hope that Chrome and Hibari have some time together where Hibari will show us more of how he feels because I want to see where their "relationship" with each other would go. I hope its a happy ending for the two. >.<
It leave me with too much to describe emotions. LOVE IT DDDD

I know! I have a sneaky feeling it's Mukuro, although I'm not 100% sure. Or it's Hibari... I don't know!! ;A; I don't know what Mukuro is planning, but I bet it'll turn out okay in the end. D: I'm not surprised he leaves her confused - he's straight to the point, but tends to leave some helpful details out. OTL Yea, I hope it all turns out well too, but I'm not sure Hibari will ever truly love her - he's way too logical for that. ;A; Although I do think he'll try his best, and they'll become the most sweetest, and most dysfunctional family in the world!! :'D Seriously though, there's no denying that he's attracted to her, and he isn't so heartless that he'd ever abandon her, regardless of how much she confuses him.
Tell you what I really love his - inner-monologue, as well as his mischievous nature; they're just so funny, and Hibari-like. (:<

I really look forward to Hibari's inner-monologue - just means there's a promise of some sort of mischief in the air. :'D Gokudera and Tsuna are pretty amusing too, which is interesting, considering I wasn't that fond of them in the manga. D:
Goodness, how funny would it be if the child took after Hibari in all manners of ways, except when it comes to fighting! :'D And I'm sure they will have some adorable, but extremely awkward, family moments! I can just imagine the child showing them a drawing, and Chrome being "er, that's lovely!" and Hibari having a =_= expression whilst wondering how they came to be related. :'D

I have no idea. I go to school in the U.S. Schools over here don't have an all out calendar for use to actually see when we have major exams. my school expect us to remember it since we have announcements during class everyday.
It would be nice if they did hang a calendar in the cafeteria for those who can't hear the announcements in class.
It is different everywhere in the world on how they run their school systems. I think my high school exit exams (CAHSEE) are during the last week of my 3rd term. So I'm going to pretty busy getting ready for that and my finals for my classes too. That is what my teachers told me.
I find it funny how I might know more about other school systems better than my own. OTL

I think I understood what you said. From the sounds of it, American schools are more short-term focused (at least with their calendars), and have a confusing exam timetabling system. At least, it sounds confusing to me, since my school (and uni) allows us to access this information on the internet, and has set times of the year set aside for exams. Hope your exams go okay, and aren't too stressful!!

Yeah that pretty much summed it up. We do have set times for our finals and district wide exams but other than that we have to keep track of it our selves. My school doesn't post those stuff on their website for some reason so we have to keep track of everything if we want to be up to date with information. I probably will stress out but not because of exams but of projects and presentation i will have to do sometime this week. I hate presentations. They are blehhh. I try not to stress out too much because it just makes me anxious the I won't be able to focus. hahahaha. ^_^'''

No problem.
Have you tried talking to them about that? Could be that they don't know they're making you feel this way, or perhaps they're not very good with dealing with meltdowns? Either way, communication is key!
Depends on the situation, I'm afraid. Since I don't know the general details of what they're withholding, I'm afraid I can't say either way if it's a good or bad thing. You never know, it may be that they're trying to protect you, and you're unintentionally overreacting. (: If you don't mind my asking, how did you find out they're withholding information?

ebi-bluenerd In reply to Pixie-Lips [2013-02-19 04:39:59 +0000 UTC]
I do try talking to them about it but they usually brush it off like its not important.
I found out through my cousin because she hanged out with them without my knowledge and she is the only one who have told me this because she felt guilty for leaving me out of the loop and the only one who has been mostly honest with it. She is the one I know. And the other two friends especially the one who started this felt that he did not need to inform me of this. So he has either been avoiding me or tries to surround himself with our friend who have no idea about it. And I think my other friend only told me because I asked him straight out what happen because I'm pretty sure if I didn't he wouldn't tell me either. I'm worried because it involves my cousin and my longtime friends. I might be overreacting but I thought that they would at least inform me about it straight up instead of me finding out that way and them avoiding the subject and trying to interact with me. Kinda...makes me feel lonely and and not a good friend since they wouldn't tell me.
Does that make any sense at all? My writing skills aren't really that good even though I speak English. Hahaha
Thank you for listening or should I say reading what I'm saying. It means a lot to me.

Hmmm... I take it they know how important it is to you, right? If so, I'm not sure what I could say to counteract that.
Sounds like it's the sort of situation where they don't feel like it's a big deal (guys generally see things differently from us females), and that you may be unintentionally making mountains out of molehills. Are you worried that they're deliberately secluding you, or perhaps prefer your cousin? (Really hope I didn't just put new worries into your head with that...) Either way, instead of getting worked up over how each of you sees your friendship (it's probably just as important to them as it is to you), why not tell them how left out you feel, and suggest making plans to hang out (study groups also works if they pull that excuse!)? Take it you did ask your cousin why you weren't invited?
Yes, it made perfect sense. However, I'd maybe recommend checking over your grammar in future. (;
No worries! Considering how antipathy is one of my strongest personality traits (especially face-to-face), I don't mind too much when someone needs to vent. (:

I hope they do know since they didn't tell me anything...maybe it's because I'm a girl that they feel its not as important as it should be. I already mentioned my dislike of them hanging out with my cousin because generally she is more likable then me socially. I was hoping that they at least considered my feeling before they decided on hanging out. Yea, I think it is because I feel that they are deliberately secluding me that I feel worried. I've tried but they always say they are "busy" but really I know they just leave me out of things. I did ask her why they didn't invite me and her answer was "I didn't know how to contact you or how you would get there". And I literally had this face when she said that -__- really. I felt like she was thinking that I was stupid enough to believe that. She could have text me but she chose not to. I would have understood the part about how I would get there until I found out it was around where I go to high school.
Cool I was afraid it didn't. Good thing it did. I will definitely consider your advice because I really need it. Hahaha. How was it this time? Any better?

I think that's most likely to be the case, though I don't think it's got anything to do with you being the opposite gender. If anything, it's more that males are (generally) more relaxed when it comes to friendship, and have a slightly different take on it than us females (hence why there's usually less drama between two guy friends).
Did they say that she's more likable than you? If not, then I suspect that that's your own perception and that you are wonderful in your own right.
And I take it there's no other friends you could socialise with? (That's not meant as sarcasm, by the way.) Hmmm... Sounds like this is something you need to confront her about. Not necessarily in a way that leads to an argument (hopefully not - arguments are bad), but it does sound like you need to talk to her about this.
It's better, but your grammar still needs a bit of work. D: One way to help improve your grammar is to say what you've written out loud. If you need to take a breath, then that's where some form of punctuation needs to be included. Also, breaking your paragraph up a little (similar to what I've done) will also help make it easier to read.
Nooooooo! No hugs! I really dislike hugs. And physical contact. Hell, I'm probably the nicest version of Hibari Kyoya you're ever likely to meet. D:

No...I guess it is my own perception but I came to that conclusion when I found out that my cousin knew more about them than I have in the 10+ years we've known each other.
There are other friends but most of them don't have the same lunch I do. And the one who do have the same lunch as me have different friends to go to. I overall feel either lonely or awkward when I am surrounded by them.
Now that I think about it, it is kinda awkward even with my usually friends during that lunch.

Sorry - I'm awful at responding within a short time frame.
Does it really matter that she knows more about them? Facts and time don't define how deep a friendship is; understanding behavioural quirks and getting on with one another are probably more important than knowing what your friend's weight was at birth. Also, it could be an issue of them wanting to impress your cousin, though I can't say for sure.
You know, that was me throughout all my years at secondary (high) school, so I don't if I can offer any wonderful solutions. OTL I know it probably won't help much, but I found reading to a great help. For one thing, it helped me to stop feeling so lonely/awkward, but it also helped with improving my literacy skills (though I've always been an avid reader). But I think the most important thing you can do is accept yourself (you sound a little afraid of being alone), and let your friends know that you're feeling this way at any point in the conversation, so you're all given an even chance to make things more fun.
I'm sure you'll do fine in your exams - I genuinely mean that. Just... don't get stressed, okay? If you do start to get stressed, then feel free to rant to me, or write poetry, or draw - whatever helps. ¬_¬ I hope I didn't sound patronising there.
Wouldn't recommend it. I'm rather picky when it comes to food, so your best bet would be to sit and have a nice cup of tea with me. (:
I did not know they did that in Asian drama - I've only ever seen Absolute Boyfriend (which wound me up from a business point of view when it came to the bakery... thing), and the start of a couple of other series, so anything relating to Asian dramas goes over my head. But, er, yea. No hugs for me, please.

It's all good. I know people have lives to live so I understand. :3
I guess it really doesn't matter much but I was thinking of more personal matters. But I think I am almost over this issue of mines. It probably my insecurities that are making me think this way. Now, I don't even hang out with them at lunch not because I am avoiding them but I don't know where they go to anymore. So I eat inside with my other friends.
I think reading has help me out a lot during my high school years so far. But I don't really read books as much as I do fan fiction. I read so much fan fiction people tell me to stop reading it so much.
I don't have the same lunch as the friends I really talk to. Like my guy friend would eat lunch with me and I would go with him to the table he hangs out with once in a while and I just stand there awkwardly. After a while I just leave an go to class because I don't know what is going on or I stay inside and eat with those I've been eating with. I think the reason I feel afraid is because I use to hang out in the open where everyone could see you. I think it has gotten better since I have started eating inside.
Taking my exams next week >.<

You mean like secrets and whatnot? In any case, it's good to hear that you're feeling better about the situation. (: Though I'd recommend against avoiding them completely, else you risk creating an unfavourable situation... Even saying "hi" once in a while, and letting them know you need some space should help to prevent a nasty confrontation. \o/
O.O What's wrong with reading a lot of fanfiction? Other than the fact that quite a few are poorly written... ¬_¬ At least you're reading something you enjoy, and may even learn something from it. ^^

That's what I told my friends and they are like "You crazy girl -3-". At least I'm reading hehehe. I don't read books unless one of my classes require me too. I have learn so much from fanfiction that I'm sticking to it hahaha.
Ohh when I said "in the open" and "inside" my school lets the students eat either inside the cafeteria or outside. So when I eat outside before we usually eat and the center or close to the center of everyone so it feels like people are staring at you but they really aren't.
Studying...maybe. But just for English. Not so much math since I'm good at math. THANK YOU!! This whole week is all about our exams and presentations but I'll live. :3
I did >w> hehehe
Hahaha them we will sit down and have some tea like you said before then. D

You're welcome! It's good to hear that the situation is definitely improving for you, and that you're okay now. And it's good to know that it was fun! How did your club performance go? Also, what was it? (:
That's good. Hope it stays that way. (:
Mmmh, but I hope you're reading the ones that have are properly written (i.e. standard English, a decent plot, characterisation, etc). So I take it you haven't read Harry Potter or anything like that?
... Still don't entirely understand what you mean, but I guess it's an arrangement that you'd have to experience haha Either that or I'm just dim haha
Only English? Do you not have exams for your other subjects? Oh, I hope it all went well. When do you get your results?
Good. xD Yay! Tea is love. Unless it's fruity or herbal tea, and then it's not haha

Our performance was successful. Better than I expected. Hahaha I forgot to say what club. ^_^''.
So it was for my school's Asian Club and it was a way to have all the other Asian Cultured Clubs at our school(ex. Japanese Club, Lion Dance Club, guest we hire, etc.)come perform for our Asian Fest, a show to share the different Asian cultures with others.
Our club didn't perform any dances or anything like that, but we hosted the event. ^_^ Didn't have time for it. But overall was successful and fun for all the clubs because of the performances and the fact that we all raised money from selling food at the booths that each club set up. :3 Hopefully we could do it again next year and encourage more people to come and support us.
I have been reading those with decent English, plot, and characterization. Mostly KHR and Naruto fan fiction. I usually go by the reviews a story has, like how many reviews it has, what other's say about this particular fan fiction and if it is my kind of taste. And I also try to find on about the grammar and format as well as flow of the story. Usually if the characters become too OOC I might stop reading that particular fan fiction. And usually you could tell how well a story is due to the summary that is given.
I'm not actually a fan of Harry Potter. Not really my thing.
Awhh oh well, that is ok hahaha.
For the CAHSEE (California High School Exit Exam) its only English and math. I thought it was going to be more difficult but the problems that were given to me in the English portion as well as math could be done by an 8th grader (middle school students). I thought the math would be a challenge but it only tested us on basic algebra which I had taken in 7th Grade. I get my results in about 3-4 months from now.
I do have exams for other classes but that is to get our final grade for the quarter(like a semester but its 4 terms/quarters instead of like 3). Since our school system goes by letter grades the final exam could either bump you to the next letter grade or move you down depending on how much it is worth of each class.
For our school classes they input the final grades the Monday after the last exam taking day. So then they would send the report cards with our final grade on it.
I just got my report card on friday and...I GOT ALL A's ^w^. Was shocked because the last day of the term I checked my English grade and it was a B so I believed she put in some work that I did not know of that got my grade to an A. Very happy about it.
Hmmm I like herbal tea but thats ok we will have our own teas to drink. Yum milk tea with boba. >v<

Sorry for not answering until now! nOn I was away on holiday when I received this, and have only just got around to answering my messages.
Oh wow! Your school has Asian clubs?! O.O That's so cool!! *o* So does that mean your club managed the event? Sounds impressive. (: Wish I could come see it, but the US is a little far and expensive haha
Wow. Your decision process is a lot more thorough than mine!! Yea, I can't stand OOC in fanfiction. Can't comment on any Naruto fanfiction (since I've only read the first three volumes of the manga), but I've found both Tsuna and Hibari to be written OOC the most in KHR fanfiction. OTL What are your favourite fanfictions, if I may ask?
Fair enough. (: I just used Harry Potter as an example since my Tumblr is usually teeming with it haha
Silly question, but how old is an 8th grader? Our school system is different, so I'd have a better understanding of the difficulty range if I can guess roughly what year it'd be for us. (:
=_= Your school's system sounds rather complicated to me. Still, it's good to know that you're not worrying about your results. \o/
Well done! Wonderful to hear that you've done so well! How many subjects do you have?
... Have to admit, I have absolutely no idea what milk tea with boba is. D: Herbal tea just tastes empty to me, which is why I rarely drink it. Then again, I don't think anything can taste as bad as this Christmas tea I had a few years ago. Smelt wonderful, but the taste didn't match. ):

OO Its okay. I totally understand since school is giving my a hard time right now but all is good.
Yeah, our school has an Asian Club but we don't do much hahaha xDD. Yeah, our club managed the event, I hope that next year I can help run the set up because it was really unorganized when we were setting up.
Hmmm, depending on the fandom. For KHR I like the stories by deadly-chronicles..too bad she isn't writing those anymore ;(. I have a bunch of other that I like but I can't remember the names right now. hahah sorry!
Usually 8th graders are usually around 13-14 years old most of the time. Yeah, I think it kinda is because I am always wondering why they have a school for only like 2 grade levels. But maybe that's just around where I live.
Last Term I had 4 subjects- math, English, Computer and Graphic Designs, and P.E. This term I have World History, Poerty English, Japanese, and Chemistry.
Only have like 2 more months until my summer vacation :3 It's going by so fast.OO I know what you mean. One time I drank this yummy smelling drink until I figured out it was a medical herbal tea. Blehh tasted like medicine.
