I like it very much! You know how to use colors and I must say this is a masterpiece that I would love to buy. I was fascinated how you used the red color in the water, it really looks real. But the only thing that I maybe don't like so much is the water, because it looks just alittle bit unreal. But it's still great! And what I love the most is his blue eyes that are watching something.
I wish that you would continue doing such great paintings and I hope to see them then.
Goog luck to you. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="

this is beautiful. showing the true nature of this magnificent creature. cannot imagine how long it took to make this, but i love it. the amazing use of the species, and how it has a unique opening approach to someone. not as scary or fearful, but as peaceful and serene. it fascinates me how you added such emotion and how everything just adds up in perfect configuration to the picture. you did an amazing job and this is a great example of impact. how it can instantaneously change the mood of one or another. i have never seen something quite like this. please keep it up.

I look at this tiger and all I see is "What just happen?"!! When I first saw this tiger, it looked real, and that is something that i rarely see. You are a really good artist. I'm glad that you signed you're piece, so that if anyone try to claim you're masterpiece you can prove them wrong. The one thing that blew my mind was the colors that you used. They all go together like a puzzle!! I also love the bright, BRIGHT blue eyes. They reminds me of my best friend's eyes. Well I'm not gonna lie but I love this picture!! This is why you have me watching you!!

Once again your desgin is by far amazing. The tiger as he or she drinks the water when the wone on the arm as the water drifts away the blood. The expression on the tiger fface looks very sad, I can see the pain that the tiger would have if he or she were to loose in a fight.
Now for your color, The tiger it self is well done it looks very real. The eye are what got me, eye for any animal are hard I know but, the color and fixsation is great! The water refection of the tiger is good. I hope to see more of your animal art in the future.

Wow! This is quite amazing! I was quite shocked to see that it was watercolor, as you have clearly used a high amount of detail and realism in this painting. I like the eyes, as it kind of seems as if it is startled, as if someone had just taken a picture, which added to my initial impression of it being a photo. You clearly know how to depict blood and gore, and the water is stunning in its uniform-looking directionality, the way the blood flows in it, and the amazing reflection of the tiger all add up to create an amazing impact, not mentioning the wonderful techniques that you have used to make the actual tiger, and the brilliant clarity and emotion in the tiger's eyes; it is a bit hard for me to believe that you made this in 4 hours! I would have taken much longer, if I could do something this good in watercolor! This deserves to be a daily deviation, if I may say so myself. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="

Wow what a amazing piece of work! Really, I mean there is so much color without a lot of variaty of color. I really love the concept. The blood dripping into the stream was genius!
Now for the critique part: I wish his eyes were more piercing blue, I just think it would add to his overall look. Also I would want him to look more fierce because now he looks a bit cowardly.
The style you have is so unique and original! The way the parts of the picture come together really tells a story about the tiger. Overall a impressive work of art!! - horsebells

Having read the critiques already offered, I feel that I still have a little bit to add - so why not.
What struck me straight away about the image is the wonderful use of colour. Instead of being realistic, it is what I would perhaps term 'stylish' - but doesn't it work just great? The saturated reds and oranges, wonderful translation of that into the water itself, and then you see the clear blue eyes standing out from all that warmth, supported by a little bit of colder hue in the neck areas.
It would be wonderful to have the same richness in the brushstrokes, but unfortunately they are a little messy in places. There is also no sing of those legs continuing past the water surface - shame. Small details like that don't really detract from the image, but for the pedants in us - something to mention.
One major point to moot, though, is the expression of the face of this predator. It just fails to stand up to the richness of the image overall - is he startled by some good with a camera jumping out from the bushes? He look confused, maybe even wistful. I think power from the other aspects of the painting should probably have carried through to the expression.
However, what a beautiful picture.
Absolutely fantastic work - well done.

Wow...Your art never fails to impress me. You must have experience in drawing tigers my friend!
The use of colors is astounding as always, the proportions are right on key, and the reflection in the water is picture perfect. I love the alternating use of colors in the water giving it a darker ghostly appearance with a bright flare of the reflection and the blood slicing the other darker colors.
The expression in the tigers eyes and face leads the observer to see desperation and or fear.
The only thing I really noticed about this picture is the nose and muzzle seem ever so slightly crooked.
I'm giving originality lower stars as well because this sort of picture has been repeated time and time again. No reason not to draw it though, it's just been done is all e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="

The texture and the vibrance of the colour in the tigers face really brings out his eyes making the tiger seem desperate for water. This is really pretty, however I gave it low stars for originality and impact because there is nothing that the viewer can compare the feeling to with this picture. It had no great desperation for the water.
Also the originality is nor high as well because there are many pieces with reflection of the animal in the water.
However I could not knock this for anything major. It is a great piece but you could fix things like making the tigers shoulders stick out more or things like that to be detailed.

I love this work so muck the colors with the water seem more vibrant. The reflection in the water added a great affect and the ripples made it even better the use of the blood on the muzzle and staining the water really captured an detailed image after the hunt. The use of paints in this is amazing because you have almost no lines in the face or body. When is saw this in your gallery I almost thought it was photo. The design was original and classic. The detail in this was pretty amazing, keep up the good work.

It's a very good piece of art, but I don't think it get's 5 stars in everything. First off, I don't think most things should get all 5 stars, considering that there is nowhere to go from there. I would give it high stars in originality, but not 5. It's been more or less done before, though I do appreciate the sort of "desperation" with the tiger, which deserves 4, possibly 3 stars. And Impact? Well, what is this saying? Yes, it goes along with a need for, well, in this case, water, after something that tests us, but I don't think it's trying to say that. If you wanted to give Originality and Impact 4 stars, and then take the star that Impact lost, and give it to Originality for it's portrayal of the after-effect, then I could respect that. Also, I must disagree with the realism you say it has ("I almost though it was a photo"), but I don't want to drone on, if I haven't already.

I love how the reflection looks. The ripples in the water are evenly spaced and correct and it looks very realistic and oh my goodness, the colors are astonishing! That's probably my most favourite part of this piece. The colours on the original tiger are vibrant and illuminating, while the reflection has a fade-y, almost dull tint to it, which water will do naturally to any reflection.
I do think that you should have spent more time on the fur, specifically on the top of the head. The cheek fur looks very real, but the top of the head looks like it has no texture.
Overall, this piece was beautifully done; it captured my attention, especially with those rich blue eyes. Very nice work!

The colors look really good. The water freflexion, the blood and the waves look very real and colorful.
As you painted the tiger fur seems good, it could be better done. But you color like if you were painting with acrylics making it looks perfect with those watercolors. So I think it looks best than if you have painted it furrier ^^
What I like most of this paint is how you made the eyes. They look like if they were really looking something. As the way I look at it, please don't laugh, looks like if there were a feeling inside of those eyes, trying to show it to us.
The nly fail I can notice is that the nouse looks a little bigger than it has to be.
Conclusion: This paint make me feel scare and amazed at the same time. I think the colors have perfect combination and the red of the blood is the most powerful them all.
As the colors the scene is really amazing and is very well done.
PS:This is my first critic I have ever done, I hope it says what the paint try to show.

I love her (?) eyes! The patterns are very, very realistic, and the color application is very intense! The lines are soft and gentle enough to not only belie the tiger's ferocity, but give a realistic texture to the fur! I feel that the blood could have been done a little more realistically, but the way you portrayed it made it clear that it is in fact blood. In my humble opinion, I feel that your signature might have done better in the lower left hand corner, rather than the lower right, just so as not to obscure the tiger's reflection. All in all, AMAZING work! Keep it up!

Shes right, the only downside is that you put your signature on the lower right... It would had been such better in the trace of blood at the lower left... Overral, a true piece of art, I would definitly buy it if it was a painting and hang it proudly in my home.
