Description
One of my favorite things about art is that the story they tell depends entirely on the viewer. Even as the artist, the story isn't always clear, and it develops as the painting comes together.This beast will be available for purchase shortly, just waiting for the paint to dry. I tried my hands at painting with oils for the first time with this one, and have fallen deeply in love.

I honestly was not expecting to love oil paint as much as I've found. I discovered a medium (Liquin) which allows the paint to dry more rapidly, and since I am using thin layers of paint, the entire painting is usually dry within a few days, rather than a few weeks. Oils are a dream to work with, so beautifully blendable and smooth. I'm so in love!

What did you do to the pupils? They actually look like they're glowing when I look directly into them. It's kind of like the look of light reflecting off the corneas. Oooooo. It looks scary, it's so realistic looking.

Its funny, now that I have gotten a taste of painting larger canvases, I can hardly stand painting small ones. Bigger is better!
