Remember the 'King of Fruits - Durian' [link] that I posted before?Here's come the 'Queen of Fruits' - Mangosteen.
The Mangosteen is hailed as the Queen of Fruits and is a seasonal fruit with the main season normally in June to August. The ripe mangosteen is dark red and tastes best if harvested before turning purple or blue-black.
BTW, while the durian is seen as " heaty" for the body, the mangosteen is "cooling".

I remember the durian. I had mistaken it for the lychee, but fortunately you corrected me.
And now to say hello to the mangosteen, she certainly is a little beauty.
Your water colour yet again caught my eye and very glad I took the time to look at it and appreciate your colours and your wet on wet texturing. Those blues are certainly vivid and compelling.
I hope that after apinting them all, you ripped them all open and devoured them single handedly.

Nice Try to use other colors than just blue in the blue and red in the red and so on. If you see what I mean.

Damn I don't know there is queen of fruit! I only know about the King but for the Queen, I haven't heard about that. I asked my mom and she knew it. I thought it tasted strange and not good because when I was small I tried once. But my mom said it was sweet, and so perhaps I gonna try again, hehe. But I never wanna try the King, it's disgusting to me!

'Queen of Fruits', eh? I don't know what thinks that it gets the right to be called that ... but, heh, who am I to judge a fruit by its name? I've never had the joy of tasting it so I will not jump to any conclusion.
