Description
The Vocaloid Series is a computer program that synthesizes singing in Japanese. It hasn't really come to American yet, but I was really surprised with the amount of people that recognized who I was at Otakon! This costume was all made by me. I actually based the design of this costume from the resin statue coming out of Hatsune Miku. I really loved how it looked like a shiny silver material for the top and went with that - I just had some fun with this design!
The sleeves and headphones actually do light up - I tend to wear this costume in evenings at conventions since you can't see it well in the daylight.
Let me clarify: I put together light-up sleeves and headphones MYSELF. I did not buy them that way.

same, where did you get your wig (i'm guessing its a three piece - main + two pony clips, right?) and how did you do your shoes?

pixiekitty In reply to asianmistress [2010-02-16 22:47:56 +0000 UTC]
Sorry for the delay in reply! I got my wig from a seller on Ebay called "cosplaywig". It was a little over 2 years ago I think, but they now have more blue tinted ones that are more accurate for Miku ;_; I'm certainly in need of a new wig! The shoes are just little black heels that I painted the green onto.
