The Vocaloid Series is a computer program that synthesizes singing in Japanese. It hasn't really come to American yet, but I was really surprised with the amount of people that recognized who I was at Otakon!This costume was all made by me. I actually based the design of this costume from the resin statue coming out of Hatsune Miku. I really loved how it looked like a shiny silver material for the top and went with that - I just had some fun with this design!
The sleeves and headphones actually do light up - I tend to wear this costume in evenings at conventions since you can't see it well in the daylight.
Let me clarify: I put together light-up sleeves and headphones MYSELF. I did not buy them that way.

well when I was making the headphones, I didn't know I was going to be doing tutorials on my site, so I didn't take photos of the different steps. It's lucky I even have the photos that are there though, since I don't normally take a lot of pics in between making things.
no, I made the skirt, but I ironed the pleats after I made it to make them more crisp.
