I made this costume AGES ago! I'm currelty hard at work on a re-make of my Sorceress Edea costume, and I was looking through some old photos. This photo reminds me how fun cosplaying as Edea and Ultimecia is! I'll hopefully be re-making my Ultimecia this year too. I've learned a lot of new of new skills since then, and I really miss wearing them with my husband as Seifer.This costume was based from the original Final Fantasy 8 design, not the new Dissidia one. I made this long before Dissidia ever existed! It's ancient. XD

I am actually looking for tutorials and references on how to make/carry big headpieces for cosplay. Would you be so kind as to possibly explain how you managed to do this big headpiece, or maybe provide some links giving us folk tips on how to go about wearing something that wont be ridiculously heavy?

So sorry for the long delay in my reply! I carved thick pink insulation foam and attached it to a plastic hair band with velcro to the wig! Foam is great to make props out of if you need them to be light weight!
