Description Wonderful Photo by Lionboogy at Katsucon 2012.
This is hopefully my final backpeice; it's really tough since it's made of resin! I rammed it into walls multiple times, and it's still fine!

I spent a lot of time sculpting one spire and one inner design piece by hand, and then Neon Genocide and I cast multiple copies of them in resin. I wanted to get them super smooth since we'd be making so many copies of the same one. It's super light weight and very durable considering how delicate it actually looks. The sticks are just wooden dowl rods. Everything is fused together with Liquid nails (that sucker isn't going anywhere!)

Neon Genocide put all of the pieces together, sanded it, and carefully hand painted it with acrylics. He worked really hard on it, and he did an amazing job on it.

The detail and construction of the back piece is astonishing. I can't imagine taking the time in creating such a masterpiece and pulling it off as perfectly in the end.

I agree - it looks wonderful! Is it heavy or particularly uncomfortable at all?

Thanks No it's very very light, durable, and fairly comfortable. It's awkward having something like that on your back, but for what it is, it's comfortable.

ah that's good at least. it'd be annoying if it was awkward and uncomfortable.
