Although Edward hates this he grins and bears it, since Darkrai threatens to send him back to his hometown where he’s wanted as a murderer, if he doesn’t put his god-given body to good use.
However, to combat his hoard of female stalkers fans he goes to such lengths to set up a decoy apartment in the train car but actually share an apartment with another circus performer. Many nights he just stays up, hearing his fake living compartment being swarmed by girls, the full consequence of his wish coming to haunt him.
2nd Job-Musician-After years after years of complaining Mr. Dark finally gave in and gave Edward a second job, on the condition he kept wooing paying customers at his first job. The shaymin, who was kind of overwhelmed with the options at first at this new opportunity, settled on being a musician. He kind of dabbles in many musician things during the day as his main job is at night, but usually he either plays violin in the band during shows or sings solo. To be honest though he really just prefers to just play his violin in the background, happy that for once he isn’t taking up all the attention.

Edward felt himself glow and saw that he had changed from an unsightly stunfisk into a shiny shaymin, with a perfect body, face and a voice so smooth that it could cut through butter. However, with his newfound features he quickly found out that if he turned down someone else’s affections for him directly they would be driven to kill themselves. Darkrai had turned his life into a nightmare-while he had the figure people dreamed of he could never fall in love. If he did he’d have to commit himself to their affections for the rest of his life, or else pay the consequences.
However, a few years ago Darkrai revealed something about his curse. If Edward could make one girl fall in love with him for his personality rather than his flawless looks, the curse would be broken and he would turn back to his stunfisk-self. While Edward is overjoyed that he doesn’t have to be beautiful forever he is still too scared to even talk to a girl, out of fear that she isn’t the right one.

+Wise-Being around for a century or so, you pick up things up. If you can work up the shaymin’s trust enough, he is a great person to go to for advice on various subjects and life in general. He has a very rational way of looking at the world, and can bring new insight and possibilities to little details that may had been overlooked.
+Tries to do good-Although Circus Darkrai is anything but “fair” Edward tries his best to uphold some morals. He strongly believes in the idea of karma, whenever he has to lie or con someone he goes out of his way to do something good to balance it out.

Because of this he is a good person to go to to give advice or answer questions, such as the scientific reason of why the sky is blue. -Physical Stamina-While the shaymin has a perfect body, you don’t have to have an olympic-ready physique to be irresistible. While he is practically a master at gun wielding, self defense and martial arts due to survival, he still gets winded easily after too much physical stamina, and outrunning girls can really get him out of breath. Maybe it's a side effect of the fact that he had really bad asthma before he joined the circus, who knows.
-Paranoid-Edward’s act and the actual Edward are two very different things. Onstage he’s brash, bold and loud-the Edward that Darkrai wants him to be. As Emily picked it up a brief smile came over her face but she glimpsed over at her girlfriends, who gave her all looks of dread and horror. At this Emily scowled, crumpled up the Valentine and threw it on the floor.
”I don’t want your affections, fattie. I only date men who are…irresistible.” Edward stood there for a moment, tearing up and then ran out of the room, the laugher of Emily’s friends following him.
Edward ran and ran away from the party, until his tiny legs couldn’t take him any farther. He collapsed in a large field, sobbing. He was so absorbed in his misfortune that he didn’t notice the wind pick up and a dark figure form in front of him.
"What is wrong child?" Edward looked up to see the legendary pokemon, darkrai, staring at him with a glint of amusement. ”Its love, isn’t it? Let me guess, you confessed and she threw you away like a soiled handkerchief.” Edward, in a daze nodded. ”Well then, how about if I told you I could grant you any wish you wanted…well…for a price, of course.”
Darkrai’s voice was just so promising and mesmerizing that Edward just gave in. Before hearing what exactly this “price” was he blurted out his wish.
”I wish to be irresistible!" He cried. "I want to win Emily’s heart and have her devote herself to me!" Darkrai smiled and clicked his fingers. Edward felt a jarring pain go through his body as it glowed green. Once it died down Darkrai produced a mirror out of thin air and showed it to Edward.
"Take a long look. No one will be able to refuse you now." Edward look closer and gasped. He saw a shiny shaymin, with perfect features and glowing purple eyes. He looked down at his body and found that, not only he was taller, he was skinny and had a fit body. He looked up to thank Darkrai but the pokemon had disappeared into thin air, leaving the faint smell of ash and sulfur.
Needless to say, once Edward returned back to his town he instantly won over Emily’s heart. The next week was the best week of his life, with Emily all over him, clamoring to be with him. All the time they were courting Edward noticed that Emily’s behavior was different. He noticed that she started to get a bit…too clingy. Multiple times she would show up to his house at night, begging to be let in. He also noticed on their outings together she never asked about Edward’s wishes or dreams, only wanting to hug and feel his physical appearance. It seemed like Emily was possessed, in a daze of kisses and compliments, making Edward terribly uncomfortable.
One day, while the both of them were in Emily’s kitchen, Edward admitted that, while he loved Emily, he felt like the two of them should go their separate ways. He expected Emily to start crying, or maybe kick him out of her house, perhaps. However she just calmly reached behind her and pulled out a carving knife.
”If can’t have you…then I don’t deserve to live!” Emily’s eyes glowed red and she stabbed herself in the heart. Edward screamed and lunged toward her but it was too late. The flareon collapsed onto the ground, a creepy smile etched on her face. Edward stood there in shock. He started at Emily’s body and started sobbing. The seriousness of the situation (and the fact that he would be blamed once they found her) washed over him and he spirited out of her house, running as fast as he could.
Edward had run a good distance into the forest when he felt a chill and darkrai reformed in front of him. At the sight of him he screamed and lunged at him, only to find himself clutching air.
”You lied to me!” He screamed. ”I don’t want to be like this anymore! Dear arceus, change me back!” Darkrai shrugged.
”I’m afraid I can’t do that. The spell is irreversible.” Edward heard the barking of dogs in the distance, with shouting of his name.
"I can’t stay here." He cried. "Please take me with you. I’ll do anything! Anything! Just don’t let them find meeeee…" Darkrai grinned and flung his cape over Edward and two of them disappeared into the night.

He still scares the living daylights out of him though.

-Edward, due to his wish to have his physical body in perfect condition, recovers from injuries at a quicker rate than normal. He still feels the pain, but the unsightly gash it leaves quickly mends itself, while the lingering pain is still there.
-Edward plays the violin. He's been playing it ever since his childhood, and it sort of became a stress reliever with him along with his books. Truthfully, if the shaymin didn't have it he'd probably would had totally lost it by now.
-Edward is currently in a relationship with Misha . At this point the shaymin is holding his breath, as he knows one wrong move could possibly free him of his curse, well, if darkrai isn't pulling his leg anyway, and to be honest right now he kind of doesn’t want to start over- as hellish as it is the circus has edible food and a steady salary (how high the salary is is besides the point).
