Description
This is not intended to be political. This picture is old, in fact, 6 years old. It was maybe a day or two after 9/11, and all I have been seeing and hearing on the news was about this. This image was everywhere, from magazine, newspaper, TV, web.
This image was repeated over and over and over.
I had friends in Manhattan and I was anxiously waiting for them to return my messages while I was working on this picture. I think I was looking at a special issue of Newsweek's photographs. This was just for a record of my experience on that day.
used photoshop elements 5 to add watermark.

Sad. You know, whenever I watch movies about New york, I always see the twin towers and I'm like "... they're gone."
Nice work on this one.

It is strange to see them in a movie. Kids who were just born around 2000 will grow up never knowing those thing ever existed there, except in the "old" movies.

I know! It's weird, really. Like a total cultural flop. I went to New York last year after christmas nad went and saw ground Zero. So odd, the skyline jsut ended and there was jsut this vast nothing. Gone.
