Great detail in the rocks, water, and sky...
Just a gorgeous depiction of the rugged sea coast...

There was a book written by Susan Howach called Penmarric, which having read it compelled me to go to all the places she mentioned. I remember these old tin mines - it was so well historically documented and she really does a thorough research when setting about her writings. I wonder if you've read it?

I used to muck about all over these cliffs - I'm sure my parents would have thrown a dickie fit if they'd known
That whole stretch of coast from Gurnards head ( magic spot, have you been there?) to St Just is wild and amazing, I love the mix of wild nature and old industry!

There is a lot to see!! Have a nosey at [link] , they have a few good little guides ( including one about Minions / Cheesewring) - you might well pick them up at second hand bookshops for pennies. I used to climb with the paper owner - a long time ago!!

Craggy coastline (like many here in South Africa). How did they gain access to build these? Where exactly is this?
