Description
Hehe, such a little beautyI was a bit uncertain how to approach this critter, i though about various things like insects, dinosaurs and a mixture of mammals. But in the end i went for this one, it got some of my favorite features but this is not the particular reason it looks like this...
Mawhiles is one of the most mysterious pokémon of the common ones. Very little is known about them, thus they seam to be rather sensetive and the only place they show their natural behavior is inside the deep caves where they lure. They have been encounted outside their caves during the night in some rare cases though.
Mawiles are belived to be very close relatives to sableye, as they have simular looks, behavior and can be found in the same locations. It's also said that roselia have rised from some missing link between mawile and sableye, as roselia has small horn ornaments. However, a weak point in this theory is that non can cross breed in diffrance from most related pokémon.
The huge horns as well as their intense colors is unkown. The horns where for long considers to be used by males in fights, but it was soon discoverd that there is not even the slightest diffrace between the sizes of the horns of males and females. .Another theory was that mawiles, just as sableyes, are able to drain minerals from rocks, and that thouse horns would be used for carving. In captivity, no behavior that can strenthen this have been noticed. No traces of such carvings have been seen either, and many scientists has claimed that their horn would be too weak for such thing.
As if the mawiles horns wasen't strange enough, they also have their two longest horns connected to their sturdy jaw and ear muscles, wich make them able to move their horns.
There's serval more theories, but one very popular was for long that mawile would use the horns as well and colors purpose was to look frighting and in such way be able to "guard its's back". This theory turned way less popular after a student carefully had pointed out that mawiles lives in complete darkness.
Yet, mawiles has very, as sableyes, big, sensetive eyes. The current researches is mainly focused on this, where it's tried to discover if the mawiles acully leaves their caves more often then it is known. In such case, the intimidate theory could be considered more possible again.
One thing is for certain though; mawiles has the strongest and most muscular neck, compared to it's size, of all known pokémon. This is only to carry the weight of their head ornaments, thus the horns and plates seam to have a very important role as they are very expensive in energy to both develop and keep.

I love the goblin look of this. I love mawiles and most people go down the sweet/cute or even sexy route with them. This is so cool, I'd still have one on my team, especially if it looked like this.

This is fascinating to me, you made a cutesy Pokemon with a dangerous undertone into an actually dangerous-looking creature. Bravo.

Um...
Perhaps Mawwile's other mouth should've been addressed as a kind of symbiote? Maybe a complex spiky-ear mechanism?
The horns just don't seem to cut it much.

Turning the jaws into horns that move is pretty cool. I've always thought of mawile as a pretty, feminine pokemon (but with a sinister air, like sableye), so the goblin look is somewhat alien to me (more than the obviously goblin like sableye), but this turned out good, especially considering mawile's one of the pokemon who look like nothing.

Aw, I was hopping you'd take a little more advantage of Mawile being a pure steel type. I like the way you did the mouth, though.
Anyway, very interesting, Especially considering Mawile was based on a Woman from Japanese folklore.

hmm.. it's cute (doctile) face is gone, and it looks like it's from a Spiderwick book, but it is cool. {I guess it's a male one.. }

Thanks
It's gender is unspecified, it's an animal/pokemon after all and doesn't have anything to do with human stereotypes

I'll stop talking now.
