Be Gentle this is my first handrawn animation other than my avatar. Sooooo this is an animation test that would have gone much smoother if i had a lighttable. I just looked at the previous drawing and tried to make them as close as possible. (which is why it kinda bumps up and down i didn't measure i just drew) It took 58 drawings ([link] )This is the third time i've tried to post this tonight. Hopefully I worked out the kinks and it is running smoother. If not I'll try again tomorrow. bed bed bed bed bed

It's adorable and incredibly realistic, great job! I studied it frame by frame and the real reason it looks uneven is actually that the horse is sometimes longer in body than others. The height stays about constant. I love this, very impressed!

Wow this is great! One thing, to make it look more realistic, would be to add more motion to the back and belly of the horse, but other than that, I love it!

That almost looks like my horse shooter when he gallops. =3 He likes to jump before hand.Very nice work too.

Wow that's so cool! My only single comment is that her ears seem to go down as she begins a new stride. It may be on purpose, but maybe the transition could be smoother. Now I wanna animate something...

realistic horses are by far the hardest thing EVER IN THE WORLD to animate.
I have a tip for you...
Start rough!
Like./.. reallly really rough.
That way if you mess up... it... doesn't matter because each drawing takes you seconds to draw.
While I normally recommend planning, I'd say forget keys for horses... Just animate through,
and then add or remove frames afterwards to fix up timing.

The easiest way I have found to do animations without a lightable is to just place the drawing on the window (given it is sunny of course) with the other drawing underneith it, it allows you to have a hard drawing surface and be able to see the other drawing under it.

ahhhh and there in lies there problem with living in michigan. where by the time i got out of school it was already dusk or dark out.
Actually. I felt really dumb because i drew the whole thing and then i realized i had a whole bunch of tracing paper.

yeah! i just moved to georgia i am actually in a wind storm right now...all the doors(locked doors mind you) keep blowing oopen. I think I read that in a book about magic that means an unexpected guest is coming. Well it looks like no matter what they are determined to get in. I really like this animation. how did you do a drawing animation and get it to work? flash? hmmm...thats so cool. Oh my comments don't mean too much! You're so very gifted in art and otherwise I love your pony! the wolf one wouldn't load but this pony is amazing! I LOVE IT!
I got an animation le petit rouge chaperon.....
I never got it finsihed but Man flash is tough. I do howver commend you!
