I seem to have a hard time focusing on finishing one thing at a time.
Well, anyway, here's my first serious try at animation. If all goes well this will eventually evolve into my OC Storm . Right now he's been um... shaved or something? Obviously, mane and tail will be added later, as well as color. I just did the silhouette first to make sure I got the basic movement down ok.

LOL yeah, I'm kinda feeling sorry for him too, not having any hair. But this is still better than having hair that flows in every possible way, except naturally. In other words, I need to study first.

I love it, it's so fluid and smooth!

But there just seems to be something a leeeetle off, and I'm not quuiiiiite sure, but I think that it's the neck movement, and that maybe it should bend forward a little more? I dunno, it just seems that way to me, but I could be totally wrong on this.... "XD

But I love it, and I love your art, and your talent is extraordinary!! Can't wait for the finished product!

And yeah, you're absolutely right about the neck. I've tried to correct it some already. If you would have added a sound to the first version of this animation, the neck would definitely go 'boing boing boing boing' I'm well aware of the problem though, and will try my best to improve it as I keep working.

Thanks! As long as you have a bit of patience to spare, it's not that hard to do (even though I'm sure I'll go crazy after I start trying to animate his mane and tail, not to mention the markings lol).
For this animation I drew the frames (12 in all) as separate layers in a Photoshop CS2 file, then animated it in ImageReady, and saved it as a GIF. Good luck making your own.
