First Page [link]Issue one cover.
This came out very differently from what I originally intended but I'm very happy with how my plans changed, it was originally much more darkly colored. I may have to change it a bit whenever I get around to finishing the back cover so it flows nicely onto the back.
I'm very excited to have this completed, as I have scrapped so many ideas before this point. I have to thank =akeli profusely for the idea <3 She made me some wonderful sketches that absolutely helped me get working. That and I absolutely forced her to look at this while I worked on it *shakes head* I'm a terrible friend.

I actually really like this. A common mistake I'm seeing a lot these days as far as covers is that an author will give in to the compulsion to include way too many key characters/plot components in the cover image, and it ends up looking either disorganized or overwhelming. Making it as simplistic as possible gives you more opportunity to just admire an artist's aptitude and is usually a better technique in sparking a reader's interest.
... and Tamorayn just looks PRECIOUS. Applause.
