Description
Just another portrait of the queen. It seems red and turquiose doesn't work together very well, there's also that weird light shape.

This is gorgeous! Thank you for making such lovely art, and more than that, thank you for being so kind and friendly! You're a splendid person, and I'm happy you're around.
The only critiques I could offer would be to light it more evenly, so the crown isn't lost in the muddle of darkness, and to move the fangs a little closer together. You put them on the very edge of her mouth, which makes them look a bit unnatural.

Thanks! You're too kind.
Regarding the critiques, I completely agree with the fangs being weird. but I'm not sure whether to light up the crown or not, because I left it intentionally dark so as to not distract from her eyes (the center of interest)

the lighting is a little dark in general, and her muzzle is... sort of modular-shaped, not quite flowing with the rest of her frame.
Still, I like it. I never see enough picture of Chrysalis smiling (an actual smile, not crazy/mad smile). The design for the painting is nice to look at.

Thanks for the comment, it is indeed too dark (it looks good on my drawing tablet but not anywhere else...). BTW the way the muzzle connects to the face has confounded me ever since I began painting, do you have any suggestions and/or references to help it "flow" as you said?

Hmm, not sure how to explain it. I can point out issues, but not really know how to fix it (or explain how, which is harder to do). Doesn't help that I haven't done much drawing for the past 4 years (traded it for writing).
Lol. Sorry, not being much help.
