After reading IDW's MLP "Annual 2017" comic and seeing Chrysalis squashed once again, I asked myself: Do evil ever feel tired? For her popularity she was cast to be the villain and defeated again and again, I worry about the character's fateThat black background made this look like a 3D rendering somehow.

On other hand, I am completely agree with you. I know that is light-hearted show and all buy for one time to time the evil ones could win a battle to the good ones? Or even better they can explore more the inner intentions of Chrysalis her fears, whises, dreams, etc, show us that she isn´t a mere sterotype of an evil queen as in the old fairy tales, if not a character with soul that maybe is not simply a dark entity if not grey....
And you know they can do it if they take the example of other "children TV-Shows" as Gravity Falls, Adventure Time or Star Against the Forces of Evil that in spite of their childish look has been treated very dark and profound themes from a time already. Without forgotten that in these shows the "villains" also win the heroes sometimes
