Freedom isn't for everyone, right?The most important lesson I learned while doing this is that when planning a painting one should have a clear focus. (I originally wanted to showcase three items: the interior design, the bathrobe, and the reflection in the mirror. In the end I mangaed to do none of those very well) Also you should balance curvy lines with straight ones. Also PS can save an awful painting if used correctly...

I'm imagining Celestia singing Jasmine's "To Be Free" solo from the now canceled Aladdin Broadway show in Disney's California Adventure since it opens with "lucky bird inside a gilded cage."

I never thought that Princess Celestia would be living in a "Gilded Cage". She is the highest authority of a kingdom; no one could give her orders or restrict her actions.

She is the highest authority indeed, but have you considered that this loss of freedom might come from her love for those under her care? That she chooses to do her duty even though she does not want to, and has the power not to?
