Crow is charismatic and cheerful from the moment you lay eyes on him, almost -too- cheerful. He is exceptionally well connected, and undoubtedly has as much dirt as he does shine on every student he crosses paths with. Befriending him can be both a curse or a pleasure as he is a treasure trove of information, though crossing him strikes an invitation for trouble. Not by physical means, oh no; Rayburn is far more sophisticated than that. He uses sheer wit and manipulative charm, alongside his Student Council position, to turn the tides and discover all your dirty little secrets. Lucky for most, he's a rather mellow fellow with a temperament as cool as ice, keeping his friends close and his enemies closer. A pity that his cunning nature and ability to learn someone's hidden history overnight does not reflect in his schoolwork. Rayburn is typically on the verge of failing, and has no shame in resorting to cheating or friends for help. After all, he is a busy man. A broker of information has little time for schoolwork when golden words of opportunity could be drifting just out of earshot.
It should also be noted that he is utterly shameless. There is very little in the world that he will not do if it means getting a better angle to work from, or even just for straight out amusement.
❤Background/Biography❤
Crow remembers nothing of his past. As fate would have it, he seems to have just awakened one day on the bed of a farmer's, with no knowledge of days past, friends, family, or childhood; just an empty blackness. The farmer and his wife took good care of him, he did not question, merely grateful for their kindness. However his happiness was short lived; not long later, the farmer's house was burnt to the ground in a seemingly freak accident while Crow was out in the fields, trapping the farmer and his wife inside, and ultimately killing them. However, this is not the story Crow shares with people.
Never once has he spoken of his true past, and speaks very sparingly about his fake one. He claims to have been raised on a farm with loving parents, and, having left one day on search of a thrilling adventure, returned only to find news of his dad's death in a freak accident. His mother, he claims, is still alive and well, though occasionally suggests that she is ill and does not remember him. It's not uncommon for him to 'visit' her, though really he has returned to the burnt foundation of the farmer's house, not unlike someone who finds solace at the graves of beloveds.
To this day Crow suffers post traumatic stress in regard to flames, and as such he puts a great deal of effort into covering said fear and smoothly avoiding classes such as Alchemy and those partaking in fire-based spells. He does however take great interest in summoning, and has a particular fondness for horses. His body is sustained by some unseen enchantment, and though he lacks flesh on the inside, a loss of enchanted straw could prove just as fatal. Being undead, much like his true past, is something unknown to anyone but himself.

When enraged, his eyes go black and liquid shadow oozes from his eyes, mouth and nose, and dissipates as soon as he is calm.
