Description Not sure where else to go with this one.  I found a new method for adding snow to mountaintops, which I like, but I'm not sure how happy I am with the planet as a whole.  Thoughts, comments?

This planet is quite cold, on the outer edge of its system's Goldilocks Zone.  It has liquid oceans, but large ice caps.

Version 2  -- same planet, but at the opposite end of it's solar orbit (much closer to the star).

Adopt price for both versions of this planet as a package: 1000

Looks nice! It looks like the land has a brown vegetation or just a cold rocky desert? Just random thoughts.

Your comment gave me an idea!  Perhaps this planet has a skewed elliptical orbit that takes it far away from the sun every few years, leading to mass vegetation die off during a prolonged winter period.  In such a system, the axial tilt of the planet should be a minor secondary effect as the entire planet would cool down once it entered the extreme edges of the Goldilocks Zone.  Everything would warm up when the planet's orbit took it back towards the sun, allowing slumbering icy deserts to flower again.

What do you think?  I'll might do a second version of this planet at the opposite end of it's orbit

A planet that has a very high eccentricity. That actually sounds interesting!
