Anyone who says there's nothing between Jessie and James clearly hasn't seen episode 46: Holy Matrimony. Poor James, caught in the middle of all that. No wonder he acts like he's gay. Jezebel's southern accent annoyed me, though...No markers were harmed in the creation of this image. It's all Photoshop.

God I miss Pokemon! And Holy Matrimony was my all time favorite episode! Reasons why I loved it was #1, James was my all time favorite character (I know this may sound weird but I thought he was hot as a cartoon character) and #2, it had to do with him getting married! Oh and do to the fact that you find out more about his background and why he ended up being with TR. God I love that episode and this pic is great! God Jessibelle, my fav part would have be when TR and Ash and his friends saw Jessibelle's face, "She looks like Jessie!" That part was so funny! God the first time I saw that episode was 7-8 years ago! Now I just saw it recently on TV and the part where Jessibelle was torturing James with a whip, I thought man that's playing dirty and being a teen now (you know teens with sick minds, well let's not go there!) Anyways sort of rambling, I just miss Pokemon so much! It was before Johto journeys that the show was at its best, anyways I'm faving the pic, thanks for bringing back memories about my fav TR character!

Promise doll, I'm not randomly flaming: Love the artwork and the picture--but you saying the pairing is proven true by Episode 46 is what didn't snap for me because it's untrue. If anything the episode gives all evidence to the contrary (anti-rocketshipping).

Even if it was a fake marriage to Jessie, James would play the bride, as it was in another episode. XD And playing pretend certainly doesn't equal Rocketshipping.
Either way, that's not the only thing they point out that puts down Rocketshipping. XD

In the 10 years of my being a fan, I've seen a lot of........up and downs in fanart.
With a lot of fanart pieces, they look like two totally different characters--you can't tell they could practically be twins, despite the hair. They don't keep the exact same eye shape, or anything. They jazz Jessebelle up to make her look more girly, or more feminine, and make Jessie look like even more of a b**ch than she usually is, with the eyes, namely.
You kept them REALLY looking alike, eyes, facial shapes with what given--I liked that.

If you haven't time to watch it, I summarize for you:
AshMistyBrock come across this 'missing child' poster that looks exactly like James (because it is), so they go and visit with James filthy-rich parents to discuss where he might be. Meanwhile Jessie and Meowth overheard this, and drag James back to the mansion against his will, so that he might claim his inheritance - which he can't do unless he marries this Jessie-clone with a Southern accent named Jezebel (or, as most people spell it, Jessibel), who's a total psychobitch determined to transform James into an aristocratic gentleman at any cost. Upon James's eventual escape, the rest of the characters including the protagonists have given up their rescue attempts, and Jessie and Meowth walk away dejected at their loss. As they're walking down the dirt path, they hear James's call of "Prepare for trouble?" from above, James pulls Jessie into their balloon, and Jessie is clearly the happiest woman alive. It's the sappiest thing ever - oh, and they leave Meowth behind, too, ensuring privacy.

I miss when Team Rocket was actually a threatening antagonist and not just comic relief. As comic relief, it's the same joke every episode.
This was an awesome episode. Though it did always make me wonder how and why James left that behind to join Team Rocket and sleep on the ground foraging for spare change for food.
James's feet seem too far behind him if Jessie just pulled him away from Jezebelle. Where were Jessie and James standing a few seconds ago?
