What has happened here?Did someone swap out Aeris' normal bracelets for shackles and she didn't notice when she got dressed?
Did some dastardly enemy cast a magic spell that made a chain appear between her normal bracelets (And made them super glowy)?
Or did I feel like I needed some practice drawing more quickly and doing coloured lighting effects and this was the first thing that came to my strange and twisted mind?
...The latter, definitely the latter.
(And oh christ, FFVII fanart? This is a new lowest common denominator for my artwork. Don't kill me! I think I'll have beaten you to it by the time you try)
EDIT: Made the gold metal more shiny and less radioactive-glowy.

Yeah, I'm still tweaking it, still not used to anime eyes due to a lack of practice and since they break various laws of physics when viewed at different angles. Don't get me started on how big those eyeballs would actually be in her skull.
