Nah, I think it's the general composition. Some areas of the piece look nice but the rest seems like a lot of filler. I would watch out that your stocks dont start deciding things for you, that can be dangerous.
Cheers,

While beautiful, scientifically inaccurate. I'm going on the assumption that the clouds are supposed to be interstellar dust clouds. If you were to look into the night sky, even with a telescope, you would never see this much dust matter floating about, especially this close to planets. The dust clouds in space are barely visible, even with a good telescope. To think of these objects as large clouds surrounding our planets, while quite easy, is just not true. I for one cannot appreciate it as much when it is glaringly scientifically wrong. I much prefer space pieces that have a basis in reality.
Your piece is pretty to look at, but I think you would be better off making it more realistic. Look at some of the work of [link] or [link]

you want realism, yet you link to `alyn ? Alyn is all about bending and breaking the rules to make his works look better. He even says that in most of his descriptions.

I wouldn't exactly call this 'earth'.

The one suggestion I would have for this one is making the background stars less visible where the nebula appears. Nebula usually have mass, and block out the behind stars, you only see it where the local light source is illuminating it. Also the background star field is kind of weak.
But that being said, It's a great image! I never give suggestions on work I don't already like.

I personally very much like it. And I love the colours! But that's just my opinion.

some of the stars behind the clouds are looking odd. also the lighting on some of the clouds don't fit perfectly. anyway it's a cool pic
