Description

Sage stepped into this competition a narcoleptic armless candle with self-hatred issues. She now walks out of it after graduating from the school of overcoming her fears and defeating her inner demons as a confident and optimistic lantern lady with great hope for the future.

In one hell of a finale, which you can read here, Sage was able to find a new body to replace the shattered candle shell that kept her intact throughout the whole season. Oh, and Spirit Flame? Despite everything that happened in the finale, it's still here because it's still tied to Sage spiritually and there's no way to remove it without causing irreparable damage to Sage's psyche. But Sage doesn't seem to mind, especially because it doesn't have the same power over her that it used to.

This is the Final Challenge for Object Wars 15. Challenge Theme: Promote Yourself. Tell the viewers why they should vote for your character to win.
Listen, if the redemption arc against her inner demons wasn't enough of a reason to vote for her to win... then I got nothing. :')

Object Wars 15... was definitely a camp, all right. Object Wars 14 was a very heavily flawed camp that was frequently plagued by poor management and constantly missing judges, but it still had a charm to it that motivated me to keep going, especially 'cause I got to befriend these two knuckleheads in the process-> (Ultrahyperstriker10 balkcy )

The three of us were super willing to dive into Object Wars again for Round 2, and I even made an effort to rally up some other friends I made, like SugarGlazeNavalBlock and ShiroDrawz to REALLY amp up the hype of the new season. Sadly... things never really took off, and over time, more and more people either quit or stopped caring about submitting entries... Me starting Cyberspace Race near the end of the camp definitely didn't help, but it made it really hard for me to keep going myself without the thrill of competing against my friends. But despite all that, I stuck with it regardless because I have this camp to thank for breathing life into Sage Candle/Lantern, and I felt personally responsible for ending it on a high note. Am I'm glad I did.

OW15 was overall a worse experience for both not fixing the problems that plagued OW14 while also adding new ones (that war challenge is going to go down in infamy) and making the old ones worse, but I'll still remember both of these camps fondly. Thank you very much CadelOFanBlock for hosting the camp as best as you could! You were the REAL MVP here!
