Last month, I got one of those multi-colored pens where you push the different buttons down to change color. It had 8 colors, so I had the idea to do a little pen doodle of all the mew mews and Hime Azumi together, just as a quick little thing for the first day of Inktober...
... As soon as I did the full-sized sketch, I knew that wasn't happening, and decided instead to do a full-color digital piece with it.
Half a month later, here we are.
I also decided, to go with my original idea of having it be a pen doodle with each girl in a different set of colors matching their color scheme, that I'd go ahead and do colored lineart, as well as a softer shading style more reminiscent of the colored illustrations in the manga.
( I say reminiscent, since I'm not sure how well I did of replicating the effect. 
It was a bit of a challenge compared to my usual style, but it was well worth it for the results. I especially like how the eyes turned out.

Berry Shirayuki/Mew Berry( White Mew Mew ) is from the manga's sequel Tokyo Mew Mew a la mode,

Hime Azumi ( Black ) is from the prototype of the series, Tokyo Black Cat Girl, which was included in volume 4 of the manga.

I probably should've gone over all this in the description, since I know there's still a sizable chunk of the fanbase that only ever watched the anime, and wouldn't know about the other characters.
