looking at your newer deviations I can see that you've improved since this was made.
I've always found these covers interesting, thats why I kinda like them. they're so different and I really find that interesting, and I kinda dig it.
so where did you get the idea to start making these in the first place?

Good question. I guess it was after I finish creating Hagra Horror that I wanted to do the cover art for Goosebumps with a PBV twist. So, I determined which book to pick and the Vampirette most suitable to fill that role.

Well, it's mostly because of the costume designs I made for them. I also still like Twilight's Slappy costume, but the ones I picked were my top 3.

reason I bring this up was because I just today found the original GG Night of the Living Dummy cover while looking at references for the sketch of one of my Goosebumps covers, and I ended up finding this while scrolling through

well I found the original design of Twilight's Slappy costume, and its not nearly as good as the current one.
despite the original Night of the Living Dummy cover and Monster Blood cover not being that good, its still interesting to see the original covers.
so, did you remake those covers shortly after you made the originals or did you wait a year or two?
I'm just curious since I can't actually see publication dates on the images, so I'm completely clueless xD
unless theres a Fandom (Fan Wiki) about you and your works I don't know where to get the information

but tbh I think the worst of the two was the Monster Blood one since Jelly-O on the cover looks exactly like the lime one.
though, I'm not too sure about that statement since besides Jelly-O looking like the lime one and the background being different the covers aren't too different from each other
so maybe the Night of the Living Dummy one is worse...

To me, it's a number of them. The old covers of Monster Blood and Night of the Living Dummy are the first. Both of them looked gross to me.
The old cover of Egg Monsters from Mars and Beware of the Purple Peanut Butter are another.
I'll definitely need to remake Abominable Snowman of Pasadena and Escape from Horrorland because I liked the original concept of them. Especially the suit for Agatha and pose for Hagra Horror.

I really like the Escape From Horrorland cover, and would be really nice to see a remake of that one.

you made that one in 2015, but the one to come right after that is A Shocker on Shock Street, and that was in 2018.

so are any of the characters in these covers brand new characters created just for these or have they all appeared as normal versions somewhere on your DA. because I feel like the horror is the only character created specifically for these

because the only covers I can think of with Horrors are the One Day at HorrorLand cover and the Escape From HorrorLand cover and from what I can recall those had green anime girls with horns on them. now yes, Hagra does still like anime esque but she doesn't really look like the ones on those covers. unless those are just old versions of Hagra then I don't know of any covers she's appeared in

it's just theres a good chunk of books in that series that you could probably make covers for like IDK. Cry of the Cat, Invasion of the Body Squeezers parts 1 & 2, I Am Your Evil Twin, ETC.

I have made skeletons for some of the Series 2000 books like Invasion of the Body Squeezers, Bride of the Living Dummy and (possibly) The Haunted Car. (I haven't made a skeleton for the Haunted Car yet, just the suit design for it.)
I also plan on making some more Give Yourself Goosebumps books like Trapped in Bat Wing Hall.

yeah, after searching up her name I saw how much she has appeared in the gallery. I already knew that she appeared a lot in your gallery, but I just didn't know it was Zoey till you brought her up.
and I didn't realize how much she's appeared in the GG covers. she seems to appear in Bad Hare Day, Vampire Breath, and Chicken Chicken.

Well, I plan on reworking Chicken Chicken to have Skyla Whitewing as well as adding Annie Cottontail to Bad Hare Day.
And Jelly-O still has a few more covers to appear in. (The Blob that Ate Everyone, Egg Monsters from Mars (Remake), Beware of the Purple Peanut Butter (Remake) and The Horror at Camp Jellyjam) Being a gelatinous blob gives her more opportunities for these covers. xD

yeah it does her more opportunities, since there seems to be a lot of Goosebumps books with slime or blob creatures in them.
and I'm intersested to see the remakes of some of the older covers. wait if your going to be remaking Chicken Chicken, Bad Hare Day, Egg Monsters From Mars, and Beware of the Purple Peanut Butter then are you also going to remake the covers of One Day at HorrorLand and Return to HorrorLand to have the new design of Hagra?

wait I just thought of something. so when you do finish the skeleton for a series 2000 cover and scan it or take a picture of it. whatever you do, will you use the exact same border as all of the other covers, or will you make one that looks like the borders of the series 2000's? because if you did that that would be pretty cool

eh, that makes sense since most of the other series (in the 90's) did use the normal border. until 1996 then things started to change a bit, then in 1997 all of the spin-off series got their own borders. Etc, etc.
