It’s unusual for me to have to take a picture of the back. But to not have one for a piece like this would be a crime.

The pattern designer is an absolute wizard considering the movie version was woven instead of knitted. That being said, this was a physically demanding project. If you can believe knitting can be physically demanding. Between the extremely thick needles and yarn, my hands would cramp up after a few rows. Going back to the “normal” needles sizes of my Compa project practically felt like a spa for the hands. It was worth it though. These photos actually don’t do it justice.
