RULES:
● the adoptable may not be given away to the first person who tries for it
The first person who will give an adoptable a satisfying character sheet will get it.
● members can try to adopt max two adoptables per batch, non-members only one
If you are a member you can try to adopt two adoptables from one batch, people who are not members can try to adopt only one.
● anyone can try
You only should be a member of DeviantArt to adopt from this club.
● you do NOT need to be a member to adopt
~PleaseAdoptUs is not “members only” club so everyone can adopt. You don’t even need to watch us. If you see an adoptable you like just try for it.
● do not use linearts
For one simple reason: we want to be sure when you’re adopting an adoptable you’ll be able to draw it yourself. But not only once, when you want to adopt it but from time to time.
● you are allowed to add hairstyles, any kind of accessories or scarring
The amount of accessories you add and other mentioned things practically have no influence whether we’ll let you adopt an adoptable. But it may matter in some extreme situations for example if you add green hairstyle to a grey colored adoptable.
● you can edit the markings slightly and change the colors a bit
Please note that “slightly" means no big changes. And what’s a big change? It’s for example changing the color of adoptable, adding new bigger markings or removing the existing ones also bigger.
● You do not need to ask "is _ still available?"
The lists are kept updated and if you see that its OPEN/the hold is expired just go ahead and draw it for the tryout. The first person who will give an adoptable a satisfying character sheet will get it.

TO ADOPT:
● draw a full-body picture of the adoptable you want to adopt
That is the minimum on the picture to even try for an adoptable. You can also add some other pictures, like headshots, paws to show the pads etc.
● the picture have to be colored
The adoptables have colors so should the picture.
● the picture must be submitted on you DeviantArt account
Sorry, but we do not allow to upload the entries on other sites.
● give the info about the adoptable in its character sheet or in artist's comment:
Don't post the info in your comment below the adoptables batch when you're asking to adopt. Place it in your artist's comment box when you're submitting the picture or in the picture.
name: absolutely obligatory, you have to name the adoptable if you want to adopt it
gender: obligatory
age: obligatory, every age would be good but seeing “X in human years” is not exactly what I want to see, you don’t have to give the exact number, you can also write, young/teenage/adult if you’re not sure
species: not obligatory but would be appreciated if given
personality: obligatory, the minimum is four semi-complicated sentences so nothing like “He’s brave and strong. He likes eating smaller animals.” and no single words such as "brave, strong, intelligent...".
biography: obligatory (if you did not choose to write backstory), what happened to the adoptable from the day it was born to the specified age. So it should be something longer than five sentences.
backstory: obligatory (if you did not choose to write biography), it’s like a lighter version of biography. I realize sometimes It’s hard to give an adoptable a whole biography so you can say something else about it. Describe what interesting happened in its life just like in biography but not from the day the adoptable was born. Just some random events. This should take minimum four semi-complicated sentences.
other: not obligatory, some other things you would like to tell about the adoptable (powers, interesting facts, family relations, height, weight)
plans for use: or why you want to adopt it, not obligatory but will be appreciated if given

● And if you adopt it, it is YOURS!
This means you can’t give it to another person or just abandon it. If you do not want the adoptable anymore just give it back to us by sending a note (you can’t give the adoptable that was adopted from here to any other club)
● the adoptable design is to remain the same as in the adoption application
If we confirm your adoption (let you adopt) the design must remain the same as in your entry, you can not change it in any way in the future. You can however add items and accessories)
